The staff at Expressions Dance is amazing. They are so focused on the dancers and pushing them to meet their potential. My daughter has danced here for 5 years and it is amazing to watch her growth as a dancer and a young lady. I give that credit to Amy and Kaylee and their compassion and dedication to our girls. If you are in the davis county area and looking for a dance studio you need to pay a visit to Expressions Dance you will love it as much as we do.

I have to say something here. I am blessed to be the mom of 4 boys. They are wonderful! I have been so impressed with how my two boys have been welcomed and wanted at the studio. They feel like they have a place there. Their teachers have been patient and encouraging. One of my boys has been in the 2018 and 2019 recitals which were both amazing. In fact, it was at the 2019 recital that my 5yo sat through 2/3 of it and just kept saying This is amazing! and Wow!. So, we signed him up.Thank you for the philosophy of dance that you teach through your dance teachers and your studio.My experience with Expressions Dance for the last 18 months has been fantastic.Dance Mom & Loving It

My girls have been dancing at Expressions dance for 6 and 4 years. They love it there, it has become like family. I love that it is a safe place for them, and they have both improved so much in all the different styles of dance. The dance teachers are simply amazing. They truly care for my girls, and to a mama that is a big deal! The studio is organized, and has many different options depending on your interests, amount you want to pay, and time you want to put in. I consider this place a true blessing for my girls and my family. We love expressions dance! :)

Expressions is a great studio! My daughter loves her teachers and going to class. Having experience with many dance studios throughout the years, this one is by far the best at communication (newsletters, emails, texts, etc.)!

Not only has my daughter turned into an amazing dancer, but also an exceptional person on the inside. They teach more than just dance here, if you want your child to excel at dance and beyond the dance floor this is where you go!! It has become a home away from home for my daughter and I am very happy With that!

My child has attended both Expressions Dance and Leap N Learners for almost 5 years now and in looking back it has been one of the best choices I’ve made as a parent! The teachers are educated, experienced and truly care about each and every studen!! My little one went into kinder from here feeling excited and confident about school and has continued dancing since then. She is learning to be a great dancer being taught mixed techniques, choreography and performance skills which carry into her school and family life. Finding a school with strong technique emphasis is a big factor when choosing a dance school and I love that here it is taught as the kids develop so as to keep them confident with themselves and not comparing to one another. Each child is different and they are all beautiful dancers and Expressions knows that! I see my child challenging herself and thinking of others which I try my best to teach in our home, but I know it is taught at Expressions, this is my village! ... it is wonderful knowing that our values will also be taught when we can’t be there. I absolutely LOVE Expressions Dance. They offer classes for every level. My 3 year old started with a mommy and me class, my 5 year old is in the stars dance class taking ballet and jazz and does tumble as well. For people who want to do competitions they have classes for that also. Expressions dance has been so patient and understanding with our family. They really are so kind and great to work with! I would recommend everyone to Expressions Dance!

Weve enjoyed quite a few years with this company. The director and her staff are amazing and friendly. They really care about the kids, and are more than deserving of our respect. We love seeing every year the learning that has taken place for the kids individually and as team players!

Usually we attend the Bountiful studio, but weve come to the Centerville studio a couple times for make-up classes. I love how helpful and caring the teachers and office staff are. Theyre always happy to help and answer questions. More importantly, theyre always excited to see my dancer. Expressions teachers sincerely love and care for their students, and for that reason, we love them!

This is the best dance studio! Amy and her team are focused on so much more then just competition. They build confidence in their students and help them develop skills that will need as adults.

I absolutely love Expressions Dance and their teachers. My daughter has been with them for almost 3 years now and she has learned so much and they all adore her and love her. I love the small class sizes so the kids are getting the attention they need in order to learn their routines. I also love the accommodating hours they have, as a working parent it was really hard to find a dance studio with classes in the evening so this is a great bonus for me and my daughter.

We love the centerville location dance!! Theyre patient and so willing to take time with each child.

We have danced with Expressions for 9 years. Amy Simkins, the studio director, has developed a well rounded curriculum (multiple types of dance and progression from beginning to advanced), aligned it with high expectations for students, supported it with fantastic and knowledgeable teachers, and still manages to know and care about each student and family that are part of her studio. My dancer has grown in skill and technique, but also (and more importantly) in her ability to work with a variety of people, problem solve, accept and implement feedback, push herself and feel confident enough to risk. Faculty and support staff at Expressions model the character, communication skills, social interactions, dance technique, health habits, work ethic, and open mindset that they are teaching our students. How amazing it is to have a studio and teachers that I can take my dancer to multiple days a week and know that she is learning and growing each time in addition to being genuinely cared about? We love Expressions Dance and would recommend giving Amy and her team any dancer to work with, they will grow in so many ways.

Both of my kids (3 and 5 year olds) are in their 2nd year of dance classes at Expressions. We love the positive environment, and feel that the teachers really care about the kids and their experience with dance. We love being involved in the performances as well, and have seen a lot of positive growth in our kids confidence because of it. Communication is great, everyone is friendly, helpful, and positive. My kids love dancing here. We plan on keeping them in dance with Expressions for as long as we can. Highly recommend this studio!

We love Expressions Dance! My girls are starting their 5th year here. The teachers are great, and I love that in addition to dance, they also focus on character development and good sportsmanship. My girls love dance, and I know a big part of that is the environment in which they have learned.

Best atmosphere to have my daughter dance! We love being a part of such a great studio.

They give discounts if you give a five star review so keep that in mind. I wanted to give an honest review so I bypassed the discount. My daughter goes to the Leap N Learners program. We were nickeled and dimed for everything in the beginning. We have only been able to attend one dance recital, the Halloween one, as the Christmas one only allows a few students to sign up, instead of everyone and then another one we weren’t able to attend because they changed the date after I had made sure to get off work. On field trips you MUST be able to attend with your child, so if you are working you will need to find an adult who can go with them or find alternative care as there must be a chaperone for your child, even though the teachers are present. So we will have to find alternative care for her field trip day as My husband and I both work during this time. We were also not impressed by the one dance we were able to attend.

We LOVE Expressions Dance! Its been a great place to watch our daughter grow and create lasting friendships!

This place is not at all about DANCE. Its all about the MONEY. They dont care what it is, they will try to squeeze money out of you for everything. Little weekend babysitting opportunities .... another way to get $$$$ I signed my child up for dance classes and then I am sent a bill for 150.00 in ADDITION to her dance class fees just for one performance on a free stage this summer that they will SELL TICKETS to. I was told they would have a recital thats why I signed her up! Nobody told me I had to fork over more money just to see what my daughter has learned! There are 25 kids in the class with one teenage instructor and they dont get any personal instruction at all. Its like paying for recess! Especially now the teacher changed! My daughter has not improved a little in dance since going. If you want your child to excel in dance or acedemics DO NOT GO HERE. Its a glorified daycare center thats only focus is on collecting money. They dont charge for the services they offer rather they create thiings to give them the money they want. Its a horrible buisiness model! A greedy practice that preys on good parents who are looking to develop their childrens interests!
