Effica is a wonderful school! We sent all three of our children here, two who have graduated and one who is presently attending and we have nothing but positive things to say about the school and its teachers. Using the Montessori method along with an abundance of genuine love, kindness and patience, the teachers at Effica guided and supported my children in their daily work. They were encouraged to grow in all areas and we were amazed at how much they grew academically as well as socially. My children enjoyed going to Effica, loved their teachers and had a desire to learn. It was a great preparation for elementary school for our two older children and made their transitions easy and smooth! We are so glad that we sent all our children here! It was a great start to their education!

I currently have two children attending Effica Montessori. Much of what I would say about Effica is already accurately described in the other reviews. Let me tell you what I think makes Effica unique and a standout program.The learning environment is calm, quiet and focused. I had never previously encountered this at a preschool. Students here happily take on responsibilities, engage in learning, and follow daily routines, giving them a sense of being a contributing citizen and security in their surroundings.The teachers are top-notch. They truly care about the success of the child across all areas- mutual respect between the teacher and child, developing age-appropriate social skills, and learning how to focus their attention on their work. The teachers at Effica are wonderful role models for the children, and the school maintains an excellent student to teacher ratio. As a result, these children receive a great deal of one-on-one attention from teachers; they work with each child at their individual level. No child is left behind; no child is bored. Students engage in both self-directed learning as well as learning to take guidance and instruction from teachers, which prepares them well for first grade.Miss Asha (lead teacher) takes time to get to know each child and parent on a personal level. She meets with parents to discuss your childs progress and to lay the groundwork for each childs future success not just academically, but as a whole person. Her 30+ years of teaching experience are invaluable to any parent who wants to establish a solid foundation for their children for years to come.

My daughter has attended Effica for the last 2 years and we are so happy we chose this school. She has really evolved both academically and socially. The teachers and Miss Asha have provided such a loving environment where you can feel the children are truly cared for. I have always appreciated the thoughtful and consistent communication from the school and that we are always welcome to observe, call, email, or make time to meet in person. Effica has really helped to bring out the best in my daughter and to begin her schooling years the way every child deserves---by nurturing her individuality!

My son, Y.G.H. was at Effica 10 years ago. Received an excellent early education while he attended and our family had the greatest experience. We framed some of his art work from 2005 and theyre still hanging on the wall. Theyve been around the world as we moved around. I strongly believe that the teachers recognized his creativity early on and nurtured it to grow and also took a big part on instilling strong foundation for his academic world. He received two Presidents Education Awards for Outstanding Academic Excellence and challenging himself for a third one when he graduates high school. Ms. Asha cares about all her children at Effica and their future as well as childrens family. We benefited so much by sending our son there. Thank you and God bless!!

The best decision my wife and I have made as parents is sending our kids to Effica. My daughter is in her third year at Effica, and my son is in his second year. They have learned so much from Miss Asha and her staff, but what impresses me the most is the self-confidence they have developed.Miss Asha has taken my kids under her wings as if they were her own and guided them through these formative years.

Our two boys have attended Effica for two years. Effica is an amazing, supportive, thoughtfully prepared, loving learning environment. When I visited the school two years ago, Miss Asha asked me what I desired the boys to accomplish in school. I said I wished for the boys to learn and socialize with other children. She then explained the Montessori approach that values the human spirit and the development of the whole child. After talking to her for quite a while, I knew my children would flourish in this environment. It is worrisome to leave your children all day in someone else’s care. Miss Asha and her amazing family of teachers made this transition easier for us because we were leaving our children with sensitive, nurturing caregivers. The anxiety I felt quickly went away with this environment. Effica also fosters camaraderie with the families. They arrange two pot-lunches a year and encourage play dates with the children. The boys look forward to the pajama parties held almost every month. Sending the kids to Effica was one of the best decisions we made!

My two daughters graduated from Effica and they are in the 9th and 6th grade now. They made a lot of good friends from all around the world and I made a lot of good friends there as well. You can trust Miss Asha 100% as a teacher and as a person. Effica is a place where if you compare your child to a seed, they put the seed in rich soil and water it carefully and nurture it with fertilizer so that the seed will grow and it will become a beautiful flower some day.
