My first time here and I got a very good, satisfactory cut. Will take a little time as the cuts are done by students under teacher supervision. The teachers are very skilled and can handle possible mishaps! I highly recommend it for the price and quality of cut - makes it great for when you need a good cut for less!

As a female I was hesitant to go to barber school. My first day in class Flavio (the instructor) made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I’ve learned so much since I’ve been here. Everyone is so helpful and the classes are very informational. Love it and recommend it.

I took the advanced barber program. The school is clean, friendly environment, teachers are outstanding!! Sam the owner, works hands on with every student! Its rare to see an owner so involved!! First off, i went on a day, he was open. It even said on the sign open. It was rainy as soon as i walked in. He said no haircut today. Made me wait outside for a bus. Not to mention he was already cutting someones hair. I was one his best customers for 7 years. Never again. Not to mention the cost for hair cuts have gone up. Never again. Dont go. You wanna get a hair cut,go somewhere else. Also i heard there are better places in brentwood and bayshore.

I graduated from IBI a few months back and I cannot tell how happy I am that I opted to get my education from here. The time I spent at IBI was truly amazing. This place does piercings, DO NOT GET ANY PIERCING DONE HERE. I made the terrible mistake of getting my nose pierced here and it was terrible. He used a gun and an earring rather than an actual nose stud. Now I have to rush to an actual professional tomorrow who will give me the proper advice and help me fix this mess. Shouldve taken the red flags into account!!
