I am in my 60s & had no drivers license for 0ver 10 years so I was delighted that I could take the written & driving test on the same day. The guys are great! They are also cheap price wise! Overall a great driving school & super convenient as they are right across from the license department.

The man running this place is super rude and unprofessional. Dont take your kids here.

If you dont mind a lack of compassion for your student, poor communication, and bad service, then this is the place to go!

This place was absolutely amazing!. I myself went to aloh for drivers ed when i was younger, my wife tho went here to receive her 1st license at age 28 and they were wonderful to her we were both confused to see alot of hateful reviews from people about there experience and want to ensure to everyone that lewis county driving school is a great choice.

Extremely rude teacher and horrible experience all around and I highly do not recommend you or your children going there!!!Edit: As you can see by Nancy Hall replying to my review she is very unprofessional and petty considering she put my personal information online all because she didnt like what I had to say about her, eventhough I mentioned nothing about her not allowing me to complete the course and was simply just trying to make more people aware of how awful that school is before they make the same mistake of going there as my family did. Also, she clearly doesnt know what shes talking about considering she told my parent over the phone that the law was that a student had to be dropped from the class 3 months after the course was taken (she wasnt able to state what law it was) and then in the reply she put that it was 6 months. My twin sisters that are a year older then me attended her school the summer before I did and one left with horrible driving anxiety due to her and a driving instructor she had working for her at the time and the other was in tears after taking the drive test because she was already anxious before and after taking it Nancy told her that she failed right off the bat (which I believe if that were true they should have went back to the school rather then continuing the test) and that she didnt deserve to have her license.

The lady I spoke to was super helpful and sweet. She answered all my questions and i plan on taking my business here. Also their price is reasonable and affordable.

Extremely Rude instructor. Dropped my daughter off. Lady was disrespectful and snobby. Plus car being used sides of tires are balding. Not impressed with this school.

Was a lovely older lady who did my driven exam, she as how stressed and tense I was , and she was able to calm me down to breath and relax and I passed by the kids of my teeth

I spoke to the gentleman on Wednesday I let him know Id be driving 28 miles to get to his location and I had to take time off of work to bring my daughter in. He told me I could bring my daughter in to take her driving and written on Friday. Arrived Friday she was able to take the written then he said (sounding irritated with me), he was fully booked up for the driving part of the test. So we would have to come back another day.Thanks for wasting my time. I will need to take another day off of work. Yes I do work on Saturdays too. Also while we were there the older gentleman behind the counter would call out a boys name and say they pass their test however when it came to a girl he would call them up to the counter look back down the test shake his head then look back up and Say oh you passed. The young ladies including but not limited to my daughter seemed very intimidated by this. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place.

This place is a huge joke, (a year ago) I go here to take my drive test and when I get there (drove 30 miles there) to find out that they were closed and just left a note on the door and didnt call to even tell me that they were closed, then today I take my fiance to take her drive test and I was there when she scheduled the appointment and he said 4pm multiple time and then when we get there at 4pm there closed and that it was scheduled at 1:30pm so she says when that was never said or scheduled, especially when he said 4pm more then 3 times. This place is a huge joke I recommend to never come here and if u do call the DOT and get an agent to check on there regulations and to check all there violations becuz I have read the reviews on here and this place needs to be shut down!!.

A wonderful experience for a novice driver. I learned a great deal in just a couple of months. The teachers are very patient and committed to the success of their students. I will recommend to anyone needing a drivers license.

If there was a way to put negative stars on this I would.Rude, unprofessional, treat you like you are an inconvenience for them. This place should be shut down by the county. I would not recommend this driving school to my worst enemies children. Plus I believe theyre testing Protocols are a scam.

If you just want to check the box to get a license, this place will work. If you want to get a quality driving education without getting treated like youre nothing more than an inconvenience, go to Aloha. I had one kid go to Lewis county driving school and two go to Aloha. Dont regret it one bit.

I do not recommend this school. If you want to do a drive test or the written test I recommend aloha or go to Morton. I had the worse experience ever. when I walked in they where arguing the man was very rude, and his wife looked nice. I had thought she would be but I was very wrong. Before I left the school to go on the drive. I did the pre test she asked me to step on the break once she said stop. She made me do that multiple times because I wasn’t stepping on the break fast enough. Once the pre test was finished that’s when the test began. I was backing up wrong she claims that I need to keep both hands on the wheel, and not put one hand on the back of the chair. That’s when I knew something was wrong. She was being very controlling, and making up rules. I know this Because I studied for this test, and read the book many times, and before I came to do the test. I was previously driving and watching videos practicing all day with my mom. The reason I did not pass is because she claims I had “ran a red light.” I had came to a intersection. She wanted me to turn right so I had put my blinker on and went to the right lane. The light was still green I made sure I looked for hazards, and started to turn. But once I had entered the intersection the light had turned yellow, and I remember reading in the book it says that once you have entered a Intersection and if the light turns yellow or red do not stop and proceed out of intersection safely. But when I had proceeded she looked at me and said “you ran a red light” I said very nicely “ma’am I am so sorry I did not it was green when I turned it just turn yellow” she got upset and argued with me. I also pointed out that if the light was red that I would have been allowed to turn right on red as long as I stop and yield to pedestrians and vehicles in my path. She didn’t like that at all and stayed quite. Which before she was very talkative and had much to say. She had also said that I almost ran a pedestrian over and asked if I seen them. which was very weird because I didn’t see anyone I was very aware of my surroundings. Checking my blind spots and mirrors being very careful because I was very nervous and really wanted to pass the test. That was also a issue for her she had told me to stop checking my mirrors and to keep my eyes on the road. Then she had brought me to a one way told me to turn the wrong way on a one way street. I hesitated and turned left instead of right like she wanted. If I had listen I would have caused a Collision she got upset and told me to bring her back to the school. She didn’t give me no directions nothing. Just told me to bring her back. so I did then once I pulled in to the school, and had parked she had said to me “so much for that” shaking her head repeating herself “so much for that” she totally ruined my confidence of driving. But the next day I went to aloha and had passed with a great score.

I wont recommend this school to everybody.They are pretty DISRESPECTFUL!!The front man said you cant get a license because you are too short. Yes,I am 5 feet then how could you making fun of me?Even the lady was pretty rude to me on driving test.I dont even want to give them a single star.really.

I took my road test here and i was very pleased with their friendliness and straightforwardness. If you want a good experience I recommend this school.

My son went there to take his drive test and the older lady there tested him and failed him within 10 minutes of the drive. She then went on to berate him and say how bad of a driver he was. About a month later I finally got his confidence up to drive again and he tested with another drive school. He passed with a 95% and he hadnt driven since his previous test. If you dont start there with getting your learners permit and taking there school then SHE becomes bias. DONT GO THERE WHEN THERE ARE A LOT BETTER SCHOOLS!

Horrible teacher and staff. Teacher is rude. Lesson driver presses on his own politics while you’re driving which has nothing to do with driving. He also slams on breaks WAY too much and yells at you when you do something wrong. He says weird things all the time too. Would never recommend this school to anyone

The instructor was raising her voice while taking my driving test. Very rude and unprofessional.

Disrespectful, rude, inconsiderate, and outrageously expensive. Extremely disappointed with the quality. quality is expensive in the end when you dont learn from your instructors and you have to pay $25 every time you have to retake a test. I am terrified if my daughter even driving after completing the whole class feel like I need to pay to have her in another class. Dont waste your money go to Aloha where they are nice and care about their students.

Went here to take my written after losing my license. They were rude immediately. After passing my test, missing 6 questions, they wouldnt even tell me what I missed. The walk in reception area is also the test area, so get ready to watch Cops/whatever they are watching while testing and listen to them talk to students about their questions from class. Overall most distracted test I have ever taken. Then me and another person were talking about our tests and were asked to be quiet while someone is testing. Told them I need and IID to take my drivers test legally, and they said just to use their car for a test. Even though the test specifically said you have to have an IID in the vehicle you test in.P.S. IID is an interlock ignition device used to keep people with DUIs from driving drunk. AKA Blow & Go

Im 16 and I went through this driving school, there was homework and a test everyday but trust me if you want your child to be the best and safest driver on the road this is the school to put them in. They will actually come out knowing rules of the road and how to drive safely.

Testing is archaic (this is 2019, how do they not have computers).Male at the counter was rude and innapropriate several times (not to me, but I witnessed him being rude to others).Female instructor seemed friendly enough, but failed me on the driving test for things I didnt actually do, and for NOT doing which I know I DID do.Also, she seemed to just arbitrarily make up rules for an excuse to fail me.Example. At one point, she told me to imagine there is a car parked 1 and 1/2 car lengths behind this one, and parallel park between them.I did so, and she dinged me points for not positioning myself exactly in the middle of the two cars (remember, one of them is imaginary).As far as I know, there is no law in Washington that says when you parallel park you must be exactly 1/2 way between the two cars yours parking in between...Ive taken the driving test several times in the past, in 5 different states, and NEVER failed, not once in 40 years of driving (only need to take it in WA due to a mixup with the DMV in my home state).I definitely felt that she was purposefully failing me, in order to get me to take the test again, to get more money out of me. This was was enforced by the fact that she told me I could take the test again, whenever I wanted, even right now (for an additional test fee of course).I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I called to ask about my final drive test the lady that answered was rude and she was pushy. I was going to end the call and responded to her question me about making an appointment and I said no thanks and she was rude and say uh yeahYou would think if they wanted service there, she would be friendly to costumes. I dont recommend this driving school, I recommend the Aloha Driving School in Centralia

This place is a joke they just scalped my money on my drive test coming up with their own theoretical scenarios to make sure you get dinged untill you fail. This place is a failing business obviously when you walk through the door you can tell. Do not go there they are desperate for money check out their amount of business and you will be able to tell your self. Came here because Lewis County Sirens was talking about how bad a place this is, and it sparked my experience back when I was getting my license. Many have said they believe they fail you just to make you pay for the test again, sometimes in the same day.I was failed here because they improperly documented my drivers license information, and I was told I could take it if I paid again.

Staff should not be allowed to teach teenagers. Their disdain is evident every day! You don’t motivate people by spending all of your time yelling at them and telling them they are lazy. If that many kids in a class aren’t passing your quizzes it’s because you aren’t a good teacher. So wish I had read the reviews before we wasted our money.
