I have been going to Countryside since Kindergarten and I really love it. You cant imagine a better set of teachers, students, and staff. It has a great community and an excellent curriculum. I have made my best friendships at Countryside and I love going to school there. I strongly recommend it.

Countryside School is a special place. The teachers manage to keep the students engaged and excited to learn. If you visit, youll see lots of smiling faces. Our child started in kindergarten and will be in eighth grade next year. The academics are challenging but the curriculum is also designed to develop the whole child--including critical thinking, creativity, global citizenship, and self-assurance.

Pretty fun place! Looking back, I owe everything I have to Countryside and I miss it immensely. A great place to learn and an even better place to make friends.5 OUT OF 5 WOULD LEARN AGAIN

I went to this school for 8 years and loved every moment of it. The kids are extremely nice and the teachers make sure you learn in fun and engaging ways. I would recommend this school to anyone.

We have sent all three of our children to Countryside School (one has since moved on to University High School and we still have one in middle school and one in elementary). We love this school! Every member of the faculty and staff is true to the mission of focusing on joy in learning, excellence in education.Countryside serves students kindergarten through 8th grade. Children work at or above grade level, and end up extraordinarily well-prepared for high school. The student body is racially and ethnically diverse, and the school community is a caring one.The overall level of parental and child satisfaction with the school is off-the-charts positive. This enthusiasm has led to very high re-enrollment rates, as well as a strong parental financial commitment to the school. Indeed, in only 20 years, the school grew from a store-front, to its own building, to adding a large middle school facility, and - in 2012 - opening a brand new gym and performing arts center.I served on the Board for 6.5 years, include 3 years as Treasurer. As a professional economist and a finance professor, I can confidently state that the school is on very strong financial footing, and is well-positioned to serve families of the Champaign-Urbana community for generations to come.I cannot recommend this school highly enough. Indeed, the presence if this school in this community has been the single most important factor in our familys decision to continue to live in the Champaign-Urbana community.
