My daughter is 5 years old, she attends this Kumon location for Math and Reading. My daughter has been attending since August 2020, twice a week and loves it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I also appreciate the extra precautions taken during the Covid pandemic to keep my daughter safe. I would and have recommended Kumon’s to any parent thinking about putting their children in tutoring, this location especially.

Two of my children ( 8 & 12) have been studying in the Tempe Kumon center for at least three years. The manager of the center is great!I really like the parents conference ( like teachers conference from school ) to discuss your childrens learning progress and what is next steps good for your kids etc..They have improved their studies a lot!

Chelsie does a great job. She communicates with parents. She permits flexibility to move days when travelling ... or an extra day when my daughter needed it. Kumon is a great supplement to school work.

Chelsie holds parent meetings to inform you where your child is and is going. She is so dedicated to these kids. My son has been going here for years. A dramatic difference in his school work. Subjects are no problem. They willAdjust the work load to your schedule;)

Kumon changed EVERYTHING for my daughter. She was really struggling with school. And we came to Kumon, and not only did all the teachers tehre help her with reading and math, she now actually LOVES to read and on her own started reading chapter books. Plus, its helped her learn good study habits. Thank you Kumon!

Weve only been going for 2 months but so far weve been pleased with the results. I have a 7 and 5 year old taking the reading/writing curriculum. The curriculum is rote but effective with my children. They charge separately for reading/writing and math.

You pay for what you get and then some if you follow through at home as Kumon prescribes. My son attended Kumon for five years. With the Kumon math curriculum, student must master foundation math skills before moving on to grade level material. This was not going to happen in the curriculum driven public school. Kumon provided the extra practice and time my son required to master material before moving on. As a parent, I needed and welcomed the structure and organization Director Young Suh wielded in expertly managing curriculum, students, parents, and her staff. Thank you Ms. Suh for being a strong resource for us.

This place is horrible. This is the second Kumon center my son has been to, and the differences were significant.To start with, the main tutor there (who claims to be one of the top teachers in the country) does not engage with the students very well. They do not track what your kids are doing and they seem more concerned with being paid than the welfare of your kids.We had to travel for 1 month and they did not even notice my son was not attending (after i told them he wouldnt) - they still proceeded to charge for him and then called 3 weeks in asking where he was - it took them 3 weeks and they did not check their voicemail.Horrible place. Stay away.
