I have been here many times for a haircut. I was there today. The wait time is short, the place is clean; everyone wears a mask. The price is good and the student listens to what I want and the way I want my hair cut. The worst experience of trying to get into a barber school. I’ve never been talked to or treated this poorly from a institution that is suppose to help me be successful.

This place is the best! Their student barbers can cut for reals! 20 chairs usually no wait, active instructors always present. Nothing but good vibes. Family friendly, I have 3 teenage sons that like all that crazy fancy cuts and their always happy to accommodate with all that new school stuff. Lucky & Mrs. Zena always greet you by your name, so it’s definitely got that whole OL’ SCHOOL “CHEERS” feel.

I came here after reading a review written in the ASU Magazine raging about how great this school is. I have to say, the students are talented, patient, and provide excellent customer service, they’re all in professional uniforms and look the part.. and the employees are professional, friendly, and seem to run a very well rounded school! Prices are honestly unbeatable!

Friendly and professional as usual. I like knowing that were helping others learn and experience. You do have to have time and patience because they are learning. My 13 yr old son loves going there. His haircut came out very nice as usual.

Good haircut (thanks Derrick), and interesting to watch the learning process. The instructors oversee services (shaves, facials, etc...), and assist along the way if necessary. Will be returning.

“A kid and a dream” growing up in Iowa where a barber is no where to be found. Looking into fulfilling my dream career in becoming a Barber I started my search for a barber school to capitalize on my passion for cutting hair. I started to research my options for schooling and came across International barber college in Arizona and decided to give them a call. After multiple calls and zoom meetings to get all my documents situated the team at IBC where a tremendous help it made the process super easy and convenient. Moving all the way from Iowa to Arizona was a little nerve-racking, and the journey began. IBC gave me one of the best experiences and opportunities and never gave up on my dream. It’s 12 months later and I have graduated and Conquered on getting my barbers license and now I am building the foundation to my career as a barber and entrepreneur! The curriculum is loaded with more than you think of a normal barber school, I am truly blessed to have a Plethora of skills that I consumed! ( fading, tapering, shaving, coloring, braiding, waxing and much more)IBC offers many financial programs including FAFSA and more!!Thank you to the IBC staff for all your hard work !!!

I have to say I was very pleased with the school.I learned a lot from Instructor Lev and Ms. Zena. Now that Ive completed school I feel that Im ready for the real world of Barbering.

Inexpensive hair cuts for men & women (about $7.00) by supervised student barbers. My student did a good job & his instructor helped with the finishing touches. Gave the student a nice tip as hes trying to make a career for himself. Not everyone is college material, so learning a useful trade is a good option for a lot of people.

FED UP!!!As Im writing this review it is 5:44pm. The closing time they have POSTED ON THE DOOR is 6:00pm. If you cant stay open to let a student cut my hair BEFORE 6pm then perhaps you should post a closing time that allows me that opportunity.The first time this happened, I let it slide. Accidents happen. The second time I said something to the owners son. The third time I said something to Arthur, to which he was my first apology. So I kept coming back. But Im tired of keeping count. This time IM done.You are teaching and training people to be in A SERVICE BASED INDUSTRY. My heart goes out to the students that pay these people their HARD earned money to learn horrible business practices.Get it together!!!!

The owners are family and treat everybody as if they were family too- from a mother figure, father figure, brother, and sister figures holding every teammate and Student accountable to reaching their career goals.

The college is fabulous, youll always get a wonderful haircut from the students, and the school itself is top-notch. The dean of admissions is professional and exceptional in how she interacts and administers policies and procedures. I would totally trust any family member of mine when enrolling in this fine school.

As a licensed barber that graduated from International Barber College, I can say that its a great school. The instructors are great and ensure youre learning and retaining what they teach. Youll be well prepared for the state licensing tests. The environment is relaxing and the clients you cut are friendly and understand youre a student. If youre looking to join the barbering family, I highly recommend going to this school.

This school is absolutely amazing!! Staff is great..very professional..and super attentive!! They helped out my church with a backpack outreach, giving out free haircuts to kids for their 1st day of school! The Director of Admissions is helpful and is very knowledgeable about the school!

I attended this exceptional school for 11 months and it was a great experience! They keep the bookwork lite but there teaching methods are very effective. The teachers care about every student and know where the skill level is at of every student. The teachers can fix any mistake and the customers are great! I Would recommend this school to anyone who is looking at being a barber!

Been coming here for 5+ years might as well leave a review! While not all the students will be great barbers, for the price they charge Ive never left disappointed. Have had some seriously amazing haircuts by some up and coming professionals. There is literally no reason to go anywhere else if you are a guy needing a simple or sophisticated cut.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been trying to get enrolled with this college for a couple months now and this experience has been a disaster. The Director of admissions is very unprofessional and all over the place. Explains why some students had bad feedback when I asked about the college. I took an aptitude test twice second time missing by a point. The admissions director said she would get back to be being there’s a “list of students” that needed to be contacted. I waited and waited then sent another email stating why they haven’t contacted me then Nicole stated that she no longer had access to my file mind you she’s the director of admissions. If this was the case then they easily could of told me no and that would have been that. They are definitely NOT helping me at all to further my career and I don’t understand why they have to be like this when trying to enroll. This is so disappointing.

I came here for a haircut. My haircut was done by a student under his instructors supervision. They did a wonderful job that everybody complimented on my new haircut. Women haircut cost $10. I am super happy with my first haircut experience here so I totally recommend this place.

Ive been getting my hair cut here for a year. The student cuts have always been great and both the students and instructors are incredibly friendly. I recommend planning extra time when getting a student cut to ensure no one is stressed and everyone has plenty of time to learn and ensure you leave with an impeccable cut.

Females beware***** This school is great if you’re a male. Hence all the positive reviews from males. If you’re a female (especially decent looking) DONT GO TO THIS SCHOOL. There is zero protection for you from sexual harassment or even assault!!! When the people who run the school are told about it, they do nothing to stop it or even address it. Male enhanced environment. And I dare them to try and take down this review and act like it’s fake. Try it. Seriously. Now they are accredited apparently, wait till the truth comes out.......

I had a bad experience today on Good Friday. I tried to get my son a haircut and as Im walking up to the door the gentleman is talking to another couple about closing for the day this time was at 5:30 in the evening it was still 30 minutes left in the day and the Barbers the wrapping up to leave. The owners were not in the building and Im sure this would not have happened if they were there. To the person that close the door in my face you do know that customer service is part of the job as well
