Studying Jiu Jitsu at Gracie Barra Chandler has been one of the best choices I’ve ever made. At 45, I am in the best shape of my adult life (and I still have a long way to go)! Professor Piu and Professor Norat are truly world class athletes and teachers and help me daily to embrace and overcome my struggles both on and off the mat. I highly recommend this school to anyone regardless of age, if you truly want to learn world class Jiu Jitsu.

One of the best decisions I’ve made for my daughter is putting her in this class. Her confidence, grit, determination, discipline, and overall strength have skyrocketed. The coaches and Professor Paulo are incredible and super supportive. While my daughter wants to try dance or cheer, she’s unwilling to give up bjj to do so. I think she’s a lifer!

Gracie Barra changed my life! Everyone here treats you like family and you will make friends on the Mats very fast. The coaches and the professor are amazing, genuine people. You will improve very fast if you are dedicated to the sport and you love to learn. I have been going here for 8 months and I have never been a part of a family like this and my Jiu jitsu has improved a lot. Amazing school, highly recommend.

Brought my 7 yr old to a class to see if she would like it. She got very scared and nervous despite her original excitement for it.The professor spent 5 min during class to ease her concerns and got her on the mat, then a second professor spent another 20 min during class talking to her and helping her understand and trust the situation.Long story short, their care and time they took to help her feel comfortable will not be something that I will forget.I dont think Ive ever seen a business be that caring to a child in my life. Saturdays are roll with parents day and she is very excited for it...

Started a week ago and I feel in love with the courses! The coaches are very friendly and willing to work with you as well as the students. If youre interested come in for a one on one session with one of the coaches and I promise you that you will be more then satisfied and signing up right after your first free session!!

Fantastic dojo. Love the staff and the members are all friendly. Have my 2 boys enrolled here and so far the Professor and crew are doing a great job reinforcing values and keeping training interesting and fun. Highly recommend!

Our daughter has been here for almost three months now (shes 5 years old). I cannot truly express how amazing this class is for her self-esteem and for our piece of mind. I have to admit I was slightly nervous sending my daughter into a ju jitsu class, but the confidence and skill she has gained in just that short time has made me realize she is so much more capable than I thought. After having paid for so many other sports in the past I can tell you no one has yet to surpass the amazing professor and coaches she had here at Gracie Barra. We are forever grateful for the work theyve put in to teach our daughter.

Initially I was skeptical in signing up my then-6 year old. I was nervous that he would not enjoy the strict and structured environment. My only regret was not starting him earlier! The instructors are patient, understanding, and just the salt of the earth. I have seen such a huge improvement with my sons behavior, focus, and just general demeanor since enrolling him 7 months ago. So long as my son is interested we will continue to be a part of the Gracie Barra family!
