Pinnacle Academy offers a small school environment that is like a safe haven from the wild world. Their curriculum challenges all kids to excel. There is no cap on how fast your child may learn, and there is a very productive type of support for those who need it. The environment amongst kids is eons better than in public school.Pinnacle offers Pre-K through high school. The high school program is very unique and particularly attractive. Students have dual enrollment with NOVA Community College. They can start earning college credits as early as their freshman year, if they are ready. The NOVA credits readily transfer to Virginia universities and most colleges, and is much better than the AP programs that give a few college credits if you do well on a single end of year exam.Many families enroll their children for 10+ years. Its a welcoming community and one we are fortunate to be a part of. The adage it takes a village to raise a child really comes to life when you engage a healthy community like the Pinnacle one.There are plenty of academic extra curricular activities, such as robotics, future city, the bees, and more. There are also school plays. We love the foreign language options that start at an early age. Kids play during P.E., recess, and after school as one imagines a good school environment to be. One should note there are limited formal athletics programs through the school. Families enroll in outside programs, rec leagues, etc. I have heard that athletic enrollment at public schools may be possible, if that is important to you. The school is working to make investments into the athletic facilities at their new building, though things have been slowed down by COVID.Overall, we are so grateful we found Pinnacle, and offer our sincerest thanks to the teachers and administration for their devotion to our kids growth, safety, and education.

I met with this school when I moved to NOVA. I have two kids graduated from Pinnacle Academy. First of all, the teachers are so passionate and dedicated to their craft. My kids had incredible opportunities in fine arts, and other extracurricular activities. The school administrators recognize the children by name and have a loving community.Secondly, the school has the powerful and challenging academic curriculum. I followed my kids improving themselves at finding out and expecting higher from themselves as well. Now, my daughter and my son get accepted good universities with good scholarship. The school has a dual credit enrollment opportunity with NOVA College for eligible students that help students get acceptance good colleges.They loved the school environment and they were happy.Highly recommend!

I have 3 kids at pinnacle,we are so happy with the education they provide for our kids, pinnacle have most kindest teachers ,and staff...best principal ...really exciting to go back to school physically,during the pandemic they made everything perfectly and my kids Still enjoyed virtually.

As you probably can see from the picture when you search Pinnacle Academy, students here are prepared to achieve the greatest -- even meeting with the President of the United States. Besides the opportunities offered, the campus is beautiful with safety measure in place to keep the students and staff safe. The administration and staff do fantastic work! Kudos!

Our childrens education is a critical concern for us. Thats why we picked Pinnacle Academy to send our kids. I am so pleased with how my children have progressed . My children always talk about school and the work they are doing, They are getting on really well. Very good teachers and really helpful.

My son is currently attending 6th grade and enjoying every minute of his time at Pinnacle. From the start, the entire administration team and teachers were welcoming and theyve followed through every step we took. We thought it was going to be hard switching from public school to a private school, but theyve really made this process easy and smooth. His remote learning experience is nothing but positive with the support he receives everyday. The weekly newsletters are really helpful for us to be on the same page with schools expectations and offerings. It was remarkable how swiftly the school switched from ZOOM to Google Classroom in the aftermath of some concerns about ZOOMs safety features. During this switch, every step was carefully planned, executed and communicated to us. Most importantly, while doing so, they put our kids safety first. Kudos to the Pinnacle Administrators and Teachers! We are so glad that we have made such a good choice in enrolling our son to Pinnacle.

Talking as a past student, school was great, currently I go to another school because I had to move, but I miss the enviornment. Especially with the NOVA program Pinnacle offers many opportunities that many other schools, in the area, may not be able to offer.

Great, thorough, K-12 continuous education. We have a safe campus where the students are nice and respectful to one another. The class sizes are small so each student gets individualized attention and the help that they may need. The administrators, teachers and staff are very supportive.

Pinnacle Academy is a fantastic K-12 school. I have 2 kids here. The faculty and staff are truly amazing. This school is great because it has small class sizes and they are STEAM focused. The students are well behaved too.

I have many friends whose kids are enrolled in the school and I have been hearing great things about it. They have moved into a brand new building and now have a principal with a track record. What I like the most about the school is the emphasis on Math and Science and the safe environment for the kids.

We have 3 children were there.I highly recommend this school. Pinnacle academy teachers are fantastic. Our children have been attending the school since 2013′ and I can tell you there is little to none teacher turn-over. The school provides a safe, loving and secure environment. I have 2 kids been this school 2 years ago, then I moved my house little far, I had to take my kids from pinnacle academy to public school. It has been 2 years but still my kids ask me to send them pinnacle academy again. They loved that school a lot, now I heard they moved to a new location which is closer right now, and we decided to send kids back pinnacle academy for next year again. I definitely recommend pinnacle academy for everyone.

This is our 3rd year and I have all 3 kids at the school. I am very happy with the academic as well as the social aspect of my childs education. The school is advanced in curriculum and all the staff is always available to help kids and discuss any concern. The teachers know my kids very well and challenge them to work to their potential. They offer lots of after school activities and students are participating in competitions outside of school. My children love going to school every day and they cant imagine going anywhere else.

My child has been going to Pinnacle last three years and has advanced tremendously academically. They follow a very well structured program and makes the child reach his/her full potential by identifying their strengths accurately and working on their weakness. Great staff, management and overall a great school. They will promote the childs overall progress in academics, arts, sports, extra-curricular activities etc. Your child will have a very enriching experience in Pinnacle academy!

Our boys are in their fourth year here and have enjoyed it. The small class sizes and active teacher and Admin involvement have really provided value in our eyes. For our family, a smaller school setting, especially in their younger years, is ideal.

My 5 years old son is at Pinnacle. He loves his school, friends and his teacher. Great school and deserves 5 stars. The administration together with his teacher would always update us about his progress, and behavior as well as the programs related to his education.

Pinnacle Academy is an exceptional school with initial focus on nurturing the whole child.Last year I had two of my kids and this year I registered all my four kids. It is more academically challenging in all grades.The school handles all types of learners reaching out to the level of the child. The art, music, especially science and all other programs are outstanding!Most important of all, we as whole family feel the worm and friendly environment of Pinnacle Academy. I have been a school administrator for the past 14 years at various states, private schools and public school systems and Pinnacle Academys climate has been the most positive for my students. All my 5 kids have been enrolled at Pinnacle and we love it!

Pinnacle Academy great school. Kid respectful teachers amazing. Campus is small but amazing. I wish to be pinnacle great academic forever in outer space.

My kids have gone to pinnacle academy since 2012. It was a tight knit community those first few years where the teachers and parents communicated regularly and kids were learning because they had structure and a caring environment. Enter 2016 under new administration and things have gone in the worst direction possible. New admin has a focus on testing, not teaching. There seems to be a revolving door for the teachers who either quit mid year or were not given proper support so they were forced to seek employment elsewhere. My 3rd grader has been through 3 teachers to date this school year, the current one has given her 2 weeks as of May. You can imagine how far behind the kids have fallen. When I approached admin, nothing was corrected. It was just as far as telling me suggestions were appreciated on what can be done. My 7th grader has been through 2 homeroom teachers and 3 math teachers, again just this year alone. I have to say this sweet little school is dying a slow death and it is very sad.

Pinnacle academy is a great school .School helped boost my son academics big time. We are extremely satisfied. Highly recommended !

We have been a part of the Pinnacle Academy community for eight years and really feel that we have found a school that works for our family. We currently have three kids enrolled (grades 10, 6, and K) and they are thriving. The small class sizes give our kids the environment they need to learn and excel. Our tenth grader is in the early college or dual enrollment program, taking most of her courses at NVCC. She enjoys the challenge and will potentially have her Associates Degree when she graduates from high school. We love the enthusiasm of the staff and their commitment to our children. This is quite the little gem in Oakton.

This is our 9th year and we love the school and the staff. They offer a good assortment of extra curricular activities in addition to the challenging school work.
