One of the best places for a childs overall development in our area.I found the teachers extremely dedicated to the kids and to imparting good education and outstanding care. It did not feel like a very commercial cookie cutter establishment but a rather warm, welcoming and nurturing place. Its like one big family!The curriculum and the exposure the kids get is outstanding while still having fun and learning at their own pace.I simply love this place and have had an amazing experience.

I love the school. My son loves it too. He learnt so much and his character started rounding up at the age of 3 and he developed a lot within 6 months. Highly recommend. The teachers are great and love the kids very much.

We have two kids that have been at Montessori School of Chantilly since they were babies. The oldest is now in their elementary program and the younger one in primary (the 3-6 age grouping). The positive impact the teachers at this fabulous school have had on my kids is immeasurable - I see it every day in the grace, courtesy, respect and kindness they show others that theyve learned from the examples leading the classrooms who treat them with that same grace, courtesy, respect and kindness.

This is the best school thus far, we have had both children in. Most schools for children before Kindergarten-age are more of a babysitting program. Here at Montessori of Chantilly, not only do they teach the students but they also emphasize manners! The teachers provide such individualized care and attention to each student and the president/owner of the school also takes such an active role in the care and education of the students. If you are looking for a program your children will grow in and be educated in - this is it!

This is absolutely the most nurturing and flexible option for young children in the area. It is also an extraordinary value for your dollar.I have been continuously grateful that we found them, and felt happy taking my kids there every day.The Montessori School of Chantilly offers high quality Montessori education, supplemental lessons on subjects like language and science, physical education including dance and yoga, snacks and hot meals are provided, and care is from 7AM to 6PM all year with just the normal holidays (no week-long breaks).This is one great package of learning and exposure for all kids - no a-la-carte confusing pricing or wait lists like other schools.The teachers are Montessori trained. They each have the autonomy to set up their own classrooms, and design their own lesson plans. Having experienced national-chain curriculum in the past, I vastly prefer this teacher-driven environment.There are also always plenty of loving and skilled caregivers, between teachers and assistants, to ensure the childrens safety and comfort.Both of our boys grew leaps and bounds in the time they were at Montessori School of Chantilly. Their teachers recognized their unique strengths, and appealed to them in ways that encouraged them to stretch.I also loved the way our kids talked about what they did at school and showed us their new skills. My 5yo designed a living-room obstacle course to mimic the Jump Bunch they had at school, and my 2yo brought home lots of sweet songs.We had to move..and our family will miss the Montessori School of Chantilly most of all.

My son attended from 13 months old to 5 years old and I cannot even begin to express what a great school it is and how great our experience was. Every teacher he had was loving, nurturing and exactly what you would want for your child while you are at work. They are hands on and the teaching is tremendous. The staff truly care about the children and it shows. When your child is begging you to go to school every morning you know you have made a good choice and he is happy and secure. I personally couldn’t ask for a better school for my child.

I have 2 children who attend school here, ages 4.5 and 3. We have been at this school for 1.5 years. We are so happy. Our kids are learning and growing socially. The main teachers are dedicated and invested. The director, Miss Kaltun is available, kind and flexible.

Th decision to put my kids into Montessori of Chantilly was the best choice! The teachers and principal are amazing! My kids come back with something new they learn everyday! My kids wake up super early in the morning ready I go to school to see their teachers and friends! The kids have their daily curriculum which is in the morning and they also have other activists during the week such as language (French , Spanish, sign language class,) Zumba, yoga, piano and stem classes etc... the director is incredibly helpful and answers any questions we had/have and the teachers show so much interest in the kids! Love this school and the staff! Best decision!

My child has been with the Montessori School of Chantilly for 3 years and she has enjoyed each and every day! She moved from the toddler class to the primary class and has benefited from very dedicated and loving teachers. Lessons are not cookie cutter and are often tweaked to engage each and every child to ensure that the learning process is fun! I would recommend this school to any parent who is looking for an excellent school with a loving environment.

My child my been in the primary class for 3 years now . Overall, this school follows the Montessori curriculum. My biggest complaint is that they rarely take the children outside to play. We ask each and every day if they played played outside...99/100 times...the answer is no.We love the Monterssori certified teachers in the the primary classes. My advice to any parents that are considering putting their children into a Montessori program...always ensure that your child/children are with an official Montessori-certified teacher. You are paying for the this...not just a day care.

Montessori School of Chantilly is one of the best preschools that offers special curriculum that is an asset to the Fairfax county Public schools. For example, one of the reasons why I enrolled my child about five years ago because the school offered an educational curriculum that included a yoga class in its tuition at age 18 months up to 5 years old. Montessori School objective was to establish early intervention and guidance of yoga practice which will benefit the preschoolers as they develop levels of focus and stillness. A child in this school for sure will get ahead in life in mostly every task they under take. Not to forget improving their physical strength and flexibility. Today I teach at Montessori school of Chantilly as the yoga teacher and I’m excited about the student’s eagerness and enthusiasm to take their Monday yoga practice as they find it relaxing and fun before dismissal. I find this school a great place for the students as well as for the teachers. Thank you Kulten for bringing Montessori School of Chantilly to our community.

We enrolled Samaira at Montessori School of Chantilly in August of 2019! She went to another Montessori prior to this and I must say that we are extremely happy with the facility, staff and the teachers. Ms. Poorani is my daughters kindergarten teacher and I have seen a lot of progress in just 3 months! I am sure she’ll be ready to take on 1st grade in public school next year!

My daughter loves the place. She is very happy there and learning new things. Teachers and staffs are really nice and helpful. Very diverse environment. Very welcoming. Thanks I found this place for my daughter. This will be her 2nd month in this school and she didnt complain about anything. Love the way of giving knowledge. Very practical. I toured 3 Montessori schools before I chose Montessori of Chantilly (best decision I made for my daughter) My daughter has been attending for about 2 1/2 months and the amount that she is learning in a very short time is really amazing! She now knows her math, writing, reading 3 and 4 letters words, which she didn’t know any before, and also coming home speaking Spanish lol. They also teach yoga and meditation, dance..AMAZING. The staff always greeting you with a smile. Ms poorani and ms preeti is both very nurturing and very educated teachers. This school really exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.

My daughter is thriving at Montessori of Chantilly! The focus to practical work and play as a form of learning have helped her in the areas of math, reading and language. She has even come home and taught our family how to use sign language!

It has taken me way too long to write this, but I have nothing but positive things to say. I and my daughter genuinely love this school. She has learned so much from her time there. The teachers are excellent, attentive and caring. I would definitely recommend this school.

We love the school, my daughter has been going here since she was 2, and she absolutely loves the school and her teachers. She learns so much and has grown to be a smart and confident kid. I personally love the curriculum and care they give.

I should start saying one thing , This School is like a Second home to our family. Both my girls went to this facility and I could not recollect any instance where I felt worried about my kids, their food, their safety or their studies. My younger one started here when she was a 8-month old baby and I never felt like my child is away from me. My elder one, a second grader, still goes to school once in a while to cherish her pre-school days. Staff is so supportive , encouraging and friendly. I would like to thank each and every staff member of this school for their patience, knowledge, cleanliness and a friendly attitude. What more do you expect from a school more than childs safety, healthy environment and joyful environment ?

My daughter has been in Montessori School of Chantilly for 2 years. The teachers are loving and excellent. The regular curriculum is A+ and all the extracurricular activities are amazing. I would highly recommend this school to my friends.

I was a Lead Teacher for Montessori School of Chantilly for 4 years and absolutely loved working for Ms Kaltun. Unfortunately, we are a military family and we had to move. Ms Kaltun truly cares for the children and goes out of her way for the families and employees. She has such a huge heart! Do not hesitate to enroll your child at this school. The teachers are all amazing! Ive worked at several Montessori schools and this one was my absolute favorite!!

We have really loved having our daughter at this school since she turned 4. She has learned soooooo much and has really enjoyed it! She always talks about her friends and all the new things that she is learning. Also, the staff here is great! Because of this school she is starting to read and is very ready for kindergarten.

This place is great. We placed our son here when he was 18 months old. We soon realized how great tje teachers were and how they treated him as an individual. We worked with Kaltun and his teachers to help him meet his personalized goals. Im still amazed at the things he learns and comes home to share with us. We cant wait to get his sister in here too!

My son has attended Montessori School of Chantilly for almost 3 years (age 3 to 6). They have a focus on education through the Montessori method. This means (in simplest terms for me) that he can learn when he is ready, and they are always ready to teach him at the next level. Learning is more hands-on and less abstract. I have been especially pleased with his progress in preschool and now kindergarten under Ms. Poorani. With her, my son has learned double-digit addition and subtraction, fractions, clock, money, and he is starting multiplication. He has learned to read and write small words so far. He has learned the states and their capitals and about other nations. Ms. Poorani is persistently encouraging with regard to the curriculum. She also reinforces life lessons like making your own choices, being kind to others, and telling the truth. The enrichment activities (dance, Spanish, art, science experiments, yoga, and fun physical games) have also been great as my son spends the full day at the school and that age group needs variety to hold their interest. This school has been a great choice for us.

My 2.5 yr old has been going to Montessori Chantilly for 8 months now and we absolutely love everyone at the school. Ms Katlun is best at what she does.. she is very approachable and kind. She always has time to send us pictures, videos and updates regarding my daughter to us (anxious parents). Ms Nora is a blessing, she very patient with the kids and gives each child special attention in the area they need the most. When my daughter started school, she wouldnt eat at the school. Ms Nora and her team (Ms Yeng and Ms Bada) spent more time with my daughter during lunch times. There were so many days when I would find my daughther sitting alone and finishing up her snack with Ms Nora helping her, when all other kids had finished. I have seen my daughter improve in her eating habits along these months with Montessori. I would recommend Montessori to anyone looking for a good school in this area.

I cant say enough good things about this school! my son went to this school for almost 3 years, things they taught in school are so advance, it makes public kindergarten looks so easy. The director and teachers there love their students and they work with parents all the time to make sure their kids are in good care and doing well at the same time. They offer not just a safe place for the kids to be, but they also teach them much more than just ABCs and 123s. Music class, yoga, painting just name a few. Thank you so much Ms. Kaltun and Ms. Sonali, you girls are the best!

Very caring staff for my daughter!

I have 2 children enrolled in the Montessori School of Chantilly who are both in their 2nd year there. They love going to school every morning and complain when it is time to leave. Ms. Nicole and Ms. Meleah are great with my 4 year old. She respects them and admires them and talks fondly of them every day. Even when they have disciplined her she always knows what she is being disciplined for, which is important for small children. Ms. Meleah is always sure to tell me funny stories and send me pictures of her and Ms. Nicole is always available to answer questions and offer suggestions when asked for how to better incorporate what they are learning at school into our home life. Ms. Nora loves her toddler class and it shows, both in how she interacts with them and how they respond to her. She is very knowledgeable about that age group and has taught me a thing or two. She even rid my 2 year old of her precious pacifier! Ms. Melissa and Ms. Yen are very patient with the kids and have a visible connection with each one. My 2 year old can be picky with her affections for adults and can hold a grudge. With these 3 women she clearly feels safe, respected and loved, and willingly and excitedly goes to them every morning, sometimes passing up a see you later hug with mom in her hurry to join her class. The director Ms. Kaltun is incredibly warm and accommodating. She is consistently available to address any concerns or questions I have, and she is a woman of action. She doesnt brush anything off, she answers clearly, or works to find the answers she may not have. The eagerness to go to school that I see in my kids gives me every confidence that this school is doing it right, and I would, and have, highly recommended them to friends and acquaintances. As a bonus, every day they have an activity for the children including Yoga and Music and Movement. They also give lessons weekly in Spanish and French, and teach ASL in the classroom. They have hot lunch delivered daily with vegetarian options. Exceptional school.

I enrolled my toddler and on the second day I found all the children watching TV Cartoons on a cell phone that was propped on a stool for all the children to see. My daughter was crying and I asked why, they told me that she wanted to hold the cell phone and they didnt want her to anymore. This means they were giving her the cell phone to hold. THEY HAVE THE CHILDREN WATCH TV CARTOONS ON A CELL PHONE. There was only one person present for over 11 children and the teacher was not there both days I arrived early. They fed my daughter dairy and meat after I told her she was allergic to dairy and she doesnt eat meat. After two days I un-enrolled her, I asked for a refund for the two months I paid in advance, and they will not refund ANY OF MY MONEY, they tricked me into the belief that they have no contracts or paperwork. I only have their handbook that clearly states they have a two week trial period. I asked over five times for a refund over a month and a half for the unused time and the Owner and Director Kaltun Jama said she does not give refunds. I had to file a warrant in debt with the Fairfax County Court again Kaltun Jama. I received an email saying they mailed me a check, but that was a lie, I never received any check. When I asked her lawyer why they lied about mailing me a check, she just looked flabbergasted and told me I dont need a lawyer to fight for my money back. They refused to settle out of court after I gave them a month and half to do so, and in court they decided to bring a lawyer so they refused to settle in court, now I have to go back a third time and waste four more hours trying to get my hard earned money back from this school. The school isnt an accredited or affiliated Montessori school, they will tell you they are accredited but only certain teachers are. Clearly, they dont follow the Montessori method with a no electronics policy. They are understaffed, I called once a day and no one picked up on my daughters first and second days of school. The most concerning issue, they use cell phones to entertain toddlers. RUN from this place.

LOVE this school! Lots of experience with Montessori schools from another state with our older children....moved to Fairfax County...looked at all Montessoris here - and went with Ms. Kaltun and her crew. Hands down! From their flexible schedules to their awesome staff...3 years of pre-school learning bliss! Now our preschooler is excelling (hah!) at FCPS Kindergarten - thanks to the great start from MSC.
