Mason Prep has been a wonderful experience for my two daughters for the past 6 years. MP is a very unique community of dedicated teachers, supportive parents and happy students. MP provides challenging and comprehensive academic programs. The school promotes leadership, community service, character development and presentation skills. The students are growing and learning in a very nurturing environment.

We love this school. My daughter gets plenty of attention from her teachers, who consistently challenge and encourage her. She is learning not only how to be a good student, but a kind, compassionate and engaged citizen. As a parent I always feel welcome, and the teachers and staff treat us like family.

Mason Prep has provided our daughter with a wonderful education in a nurturing setting. The teachers and administrators are caring and engaged. They also help each child to do their best, while fostering an environment where students are encouraged to take risks and learn from their successes and failures. While we were initially drawn to Mason Preps strong academics, we also appreciate the schools emphasis on good citizenship and character. Mason Prep has exceeded our expectations!

All four of our children attend Mason Prep in grades first, fifth and seventh. We chose Mason Prep for its strong academics and nurturing environment. All of the teachers are wonderful. We truly appreciate the individual, caring attention they give to each of our children, focusing on their strengths and helping them overcome their weaknesses. We love that the teachers at Mason Prep know when to give the children close guidance and when to give them more responsibility and freedom. Our children know that learning can be fun! The school’s smaller size means that the Head of School, teachers and every other member of the staff know each of our children well. We moved back to Charleston and Mt. Pleasant in 2007. We searched all the schools in the area and had the best experience at Mason Prep! Wonderful people, great, caring, and energised teachers and administrators. Great focus on reading and math and developing well rounded kids who are polite, caring, and super smart.We now have a daughter in 8th grade and our son in 3rd grade and we could not be more pleased at the education they are receiving. We also appreciate the kind and well balanced citizens the school is helping them to become.We were initially drawn to the school for academics and the ideal class size for our children! We have been so pleased with the attention to detail and for the community leadership the school embraces with its volunteer and community service projects. We have developed many friendships with other families, parents, teachers, and administrators that will last a life time.We were also looking for some special learning assistance with one of our children at Mason Prep. Two of my three children attend Mason Prep (third one will soon), and I honestly could not be happier with our experience.The teachers and administration are so caring and engaged with not only the students but also with the parents. The teachers understand the needs/strengths/weaknesses of each child and work hard to maximize each childs potential in a non-stressful way that would otherwise make the kids lose confidence. At the same time, they let the kids make mistakes and do not shelter them from occasional let-downs and failures.In short, the school produces well-rounded and well-educated kids that are prepared for the next level.I can honestly recommend the school without hesitation.
