We started our boys at Kiddie Academy after a big move to a new city. From the day they started they have been so happy and love their school. Miss Angie, Miss Jennifer & Miss Trisha are a dream administrative team, the love they have for the children shows right through each day. The staff is amazing and also pour such love into the children. They have handled all of the uncertainties during the pandemic with grace and understanding. It is a safe and friendly environment for kids to thrive, learn and grow! We could not be happier with our choice in school for our kiddies, wishing they could stay there longer!

Jeremy and Benjamin learned so much! The teachers are caring! The staff are helpful! If your kids wants to practice TaeKwonDo, it is so close to Hans Tae Kwon Do Center that Ms. Jen can walk kids to the class to save parents trips.

We love Kiddie Academy! Our son Will has been going since he was 6 weeks old and Ive never once questioned his care. Everyone is very caring, and the facility is immaculate. The focus on education is great, but Im most impressed with the focus on community, manners and lifestyle amongst the kids. Our 2 year old sits still at the dinner table until everyone is finished eating, washes his hands without complaint all the time, uses please and thank you, cleans up his toys, and is generally sociable to other children and adults and I know thats the centers influence. I am so grateful that Kiddie Academy was recommended to us by my husbands coworkers.

We have been with Kiddie Academy from the beginning after leaving a center due to numerous issues! I have had three children go through the program with my youngest still there. The entire staff is wonderful and I loved having the same teachers for all three of my children. The center Director, Trisha is a blessing. She knows every family by their first name and is invested in every child’s well-being. My youngest loves seeing her in the mornings and even my two oldest children like to go back and visit to say hello. Trisha as well as the other directors keeps us updated ALWAYS with the progress of our children and gives us a heads up if there are any concerns. The center is not just a place to take our children but it is an extension of our family. I have never had a bad teacher nor a bad experience with any of my children and they have always looked forward to the next day due to the love and warmth they receive! I would recommend Kiddie Academy to everyone as they are far better than any other center!

My daughter has attended Kiddie Academy since we brought her home from China three years ago. Since day one, the director and staff have been very supportive of her development. They have nurtured her and provided a safe and happy environment which provides me a great deal of comfort. The director is attentive and responsive to me on any questions or concerns that I have. I had 2 kids graduate from Kiddie Academy and my eldest go through their summer program. We were the lucky ones. After 2 centers and as two working parents we felt at home. My kids were all ready for kindergarten. They got the social and educational foundation they needed. All the teachers were amazing, loving and kind and we still go visit them today. The most important part of the center and why it is successful is the leadership of the director Trisha. She leads the center with the upmost professionalism, compassion and only good intentions. It is so hard to please every family but she handles each situation with kindness, grace and fairness. I would recommend anyone to Kiddie Academy and I do. What a comfort to know that your children are under amazing leadership and with spectacular teachers.

I cant say enough good things about Kiddie Academy. My kids look forward to seeing their teachers and friends every day. You can really tell how much everyone there cares about the children. Its comforting to know my kids are in such great hands. To date I have recommended 4 families to Kiddie and I would not hesitate to recommended more. Once they meet with the Director, Trisha, and take the tour they instantly know this is the place for their children.

I love, love, love this school. Both my 4 year old boy and 1 year old girl are cared for with love, almost as much as my husband and I do when we are at home. We can log in and watch them on the camera so I dont miss too much of their day which gives us piece of mind about their safety and well being when we have to work. I would give them a million stars!

Always a pleasure. As a former childcare owner from CT I am very picky when it comes to care of my children. I was welcomed here and my son was too. He also had feeding issues and they worked with me no problem. Their learning activities are great meeting all the needs of the children, and allowing them to grow.

We love Kiddie Academy-Blakeney! We have been there for four years now and I have 2 sons there. They love to go to school! The quality of learning that they do is really incredible at such young ages. Also, the social skills and manners that they learn is second to none. The kids have a variety of additional activities that they can choose to participate in as well. The staff is well seasoned and definitely experts on children. If you have any questions, ask them, they will know how to help you for sure! I looked at 12 area daycares before choosing Kiddie Academy. I have never looked back!!

My daughter has been with Kiddie Academy since she was 3 months old and continues to go there for after school. The staff have always been friendly, gracious, fair to everyone, and cared about the well being of ALL children. The learning curriculum was a great foundation for my daughter entering into Kindergarten. We have recommended multiple families to their program and their reputation does carry itself when the child enters into main stream school. I have known Trisha since 2012 prior to her being the Director and now as Director, she has been nothing but respectful to our family. Last but not least, a question of diversity and segregation has never been a question in the 6 years we have been with KA.

Kiddie Academy is fantastic! My coworker sends her son to Kiddie Academy and highly recommended that I look into Kiddie Academy when my husband and I found out we were pregnant. We are SO thankful to her and so happy to have found such a great place where we feel so comfortable to drop off our son on a daily basis. The teachers and leadership team truly care, and treat your child like their own.

I considered enrolling my children into kiddie academy until I had a terribly unprofessional interaction with the director. I’ve heard so many good things about this daycare but the way Trishia completely disregarded my questions and concerns pertaining staffing.. also I shared with her overwhelming concerns on how the children were being segregated in their classrooms. The staff and environment of Kiddie Academy are great, but the leadership will surely ruin them.. well for a more diverse enrollment at least.

My son is 3 and has attended Kiddie Academy in Blakeney since he was 4 months old. I also have a daughter in the infant room at this time. The teachers are wonderful and the front office staff is friendly and accommodating. We love Kiddie Academy!

We moved down to Charlotte almost 2 years ago. My biggest challenge was to find a good day care for my 2 year old and 4 year old then. I looked at several different options and decided to send them to Kiddie Academy and I am so glad I did. Not only my kids developed and learned so much, we as a family made so many new friends. I would recommend Kiddie Academy to anyone who is moving to the area.

We are so thankful to have found Kiddie Academy. Living in a city with 2 small kids without any local family certainly has its challenges. KA quickly stepped in an became a second home. We love all the teachers and Trisha (the director) is fantastic. She has been a support system for our family time and time again. She goes out of her way and truely cares about the kids. We are one happy KA family for life.

I love the fact that my child is practicing what he learns on a daily basis at home. Learning another language (mandarin) is a great bonus!!

As a full time parent of Kiddie Academy I enjoyed the significance that was placed on a strong curriculum from 2s moving on as well as significance placed on core values of sharing and caring. Valuable skills to be learned during a pivotal age. As the Parent of an after school care, I love the fact that these skills and values are not forgotten on the students of after school care. KA ensures help is provided with homework while those social skills are still being developed and adhered to. There is strong community between Educators and Parents at Kiddie Academy. I could not be more pleased to have had my child here for 3 years thus far

Everyone at Kiddie Academy Blakeney has been so caring and loving towards my two children. They have attended KA for two years now and I couldnt be happier with the care they receive!!

I visited a few places and this place felt like the administrative staff was the right kind of staff to trust with my child up until I started!!! I was told I am not allowed to bring a lunchbox for my son and something as simple as giving my son A BANANA is against state regulations. I do not believe that this is very true because all other day cares I have spoken with allow a lunch box or allow that you send food with your child. When complaining about it I was asked by their supervisor if i think this is the right place for me and my son..they seemed nice up until they started repeating the statement against state regulations on simple things that exist in 99% of day cares/ pre schools out there..other than that I like their camera function, I like the instructor that works with my son and I like the location. I also like the fact that my son seemed happy while there, but the fact that he cant eat what I want him to eat is not very satisfactory. Looking for feedback from other parents that send their kids there or other daycares and looking to connect with other parents.

Some of the Kiddie Academy staff are great, however, the director Trisha is the reason why I definitely would not recommend this facility. My son attended KA for over a year and there have been MANY instances where she has exhibited a lack of empathy and shown unprofessionalism. Her blatant disregard for basic concerns regarding the children’s wellbeing and ensuring fair treatment throughout the facility is unacceptable.After investing so much time and money into Kiddie Academy, I am definitely disappointed by the way certan situations were handled. The owner did offer an apology and was much more accommodating than the director, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable referring anyone there until the issues and complaints regarding her leadership are resolved.
