After reading reviews, I was apprehensive about sending my 8th grader here. I am EXTREMELY happy! His grades are fantastic, most teachers DO CARE. I hear this principal is new, and I have found her extremely helpful. I have received positive feedback from some teachers that this school has turned around. My son has not had any negative experiences here. I would recommend this school and tell everyone that this is really a good school.

There is a strong culture of STEM growing here. Their Project Lead The Way teachers are pushing the limits of what CTE looks like in CMS middle school. So much 3D printing going on!

New Principal, new programs, great staff. Definitely a great place for young adults to learn!!

This school is lacking in effective communication between staff and Parents.

My little cousin is going to this school and i think its a good school....it changed its not that bad her cousin breanna goes there it dont seem that bad as iam reading the comments.

Now we all know that every school will have its issues but for me it depends on the level of teaching and how my child actually understands the information. Some parent just have bad kids! This is my daughters 1st year at Coulwood. She is in the 8th grade. She attended 6th and 7th grade at Ridge Road Middle in Highland Creek where she was just a number. Here at Coulwood she is not just a number. Her teachers seem to care about her. Being in CMS school is all about communication and participation. If you do your part and get involved, your experience will be great.

I absolutely hate this school. My child has had nothing but countless problems with the students. The administration can care less about the students. I will be transferring my daughter from this incompetent, ghetto, and useless school. Adminstration is a bunch of education, incompetent people who just there for a paycheck. KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not happy - teachers have no control. Fights, drugs, and teachers that do not care. It gets worse every year no matter what they say.

Bad school the literacy teacher always yell and we had a science substitute after the first 2 weeks of school and we ran away the teacher and made him cry
