Hi Im a current 5th grader from this school! The only thing I would change about this school is the teachers some of them are kind of mean but most of them are nice like 80% are nice. I am so glad to be at this school and I have been here since kindergarten (never went to Prekindergarten or Preschool) so I would rate it 5 stars! :)--------UPDATE DECEMBER 2017---------Hi! I am now in 6th grade and this school was AWESOME the end of the year was my FAVORITE part of it! But now I am in Ridge Road Middle if you want to check out my review for that as well. Bye! School is a place of learning and tolerance. No parent should have to worry about their child being bullied or assaulted by their teachers. Shame on the teacher and shame on the school for not seeing warning signs (e.g., hateful remarks or other signs of intolerance).

I absolutely hated this school. The teachers are old and teaching like there still back in the 1970s. One day my husband and I had a parent techer conference with the teacher and principle and mind you we are the onlt black people in the office. My sons teacher ask does he not listen to me cause Im white? Not one of the five other so called teachers with no degree had to words to say. First off we noved to Charlotte from Concord. Where it was very few black kids and his school. WEDDINGTON HILLS ELEMENTARY. Yes they actullay cared about all of the students. My son was top of the class at that school and his teachers spoke very highly him. Im so proud of my son going to the eight grade this year. Its my job to protect him from devils like he people that were sitting in the room that day. Thats probably why they got a new principle that same school year. And for Ms. A something old rotted out butt. Im pretty sure she somewhere. Saying rude things to aomeone elses little child that has no idea they need to let there parents no the things these so called people who are hear to teach you are saying to you. If she said theat while my husband and I were sitting there. I can only imagine what she would say to someones child when there alone. Talk to your kids. Stay on there teachers @** aswell as theres. Ps maybe they will planet some grass somewhere at this school this year.

My grandson attended this school. He was transitioning to a new school after his parents separated, and was having behavioral issues. The school worked with my son and he ended the term as one of the most improved students.

I just graduated going to the 6th grade and even thought i came late i hadd some Awsome thing to tell from my best friend adventures squad adventures to Teacher adventures to Bullys but i still got thought it the Teachers and other staff helped me thought a lot if i could go back to 5th grade i would trust me if you go here you will have loads of fun god luck to the new 5th grader and if you get Mr.walker and, or Ms.prater tell them i said hey and i miss them loads i would go to the this school if i was you : )

It was the best the teachers were nice they were fun

It just chokes me up to have to report that my nephew has had terrible experiences at David Cox Road Elementary School. His teacher is not tolerant of anything, and should be fired.

These people are negligent and judgmental. Do not send your child here.
