I voted in the NC primaries here. Typical elementary school. Seemed for the most part clean and taken care of. Could use a better entry way for traffic, but other than that a good school.

This school is kinda good the teachers are nice specially mrs wiseman she is a nice music teacher conditions sometimes bad but not all the time so 4 star! :D good Job JH Gunn Elementary

I LOVE J. H. GUNN!!! My son attended for his 4th and 5th grade year! it was a complete pleasure to interact with the teachers, admin, and staff! The campus is clean and safe, the educators actually care and the children are being guided well. It may not have been perfect but overall i am grateful for J.H. Gunn!

Im New to this school this year and i just came on october to 5th grade but this school is just not good it has messy restrooms, harrasment, bullying, i see people say bad words and i just dont like this school. Next year im going to a charter...

I dislike this school from day ONE. Anytime my child does ANYTHING, I receive a note or a phone call. School has been in 2 months, everyday its something new. I get calls literally 5-8 times in a day!! All because the school feels picking up the child changes the issue. This is a low performance school (Just found that out 2 months ago). Any event that takes place they will ask for a donation but the minute they call saying your child needs to be picked up due to behavior, the give the excuse they dont have the adequate resources to accomodate the child. When clearly CMS is GOVERNMENT FUNDED!!! I am looking for another school as we speak for my children. I do not recommend this school for anyone who has high expectations for their child. I have so many concerns this review will be PAGES LONG. I plan to reach out to board of education staff members to see what can be done. I am absolutely unsatisfied with JH GUNN.

I am currently in high school and as a kid I went to this school. Honestly there was not much extra ordinary about the school but I would recommend the school to anyone looking for a normal elementary experience for there kid(s).

I love jh gun that was my school I loved my teachers Ms.naughty and Ms.Ferro they were awesome I miss those days
