Great program!! My son has been a student here for over a year and I can’t say enough great things about them! If you’re looking for a family friendly environment with great one on one instruction this is the place. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I simply cannot say enough positive things about Karate Charlotte. They truly treat you like family, from day 1 we have felt welcomed. My daughter has been there over a year and a half now. Looking forward to many more! She is learning great technique and I am amazed how far she has come. They recognize potential and pull it out of them!

My daughter has been taking lessons at Karate Charlotte for over a year now and absolutely loves it. She has gained a better sense of self-discipline, respect and responsibility through the karate school. Each of the instructors is very encouraging and patient with the children and gently drive them to give it their best on each exercise. What my husband and I also loved about Karate Charlotte is that the instructors get the parents involved by assigning homework to the students to complete at home, having parents write letters to the school as a reward for the student doing well on a chore (for example), and calling home before belt testing to ensure that the child is behaving well at home and at school. I would recommend Karate Charlotte to any parent looking to introduce their child to martial arts.

Be careful before signing a contract with Karate Charlotte. When my son had to leave the program unexpectedly, after no one from the studio called to check on him. In several years of trying to resolve the outstanding balance we paid up front - we have repeatedly been rudely spoken to by Mr. Striker. In addition to refusing to acknowledge that no one reached out to us when my son left, Mr. Striker and continues to insult my familys integrity and our parenting. Whether or the studio agrees that money is owed in refund, no one has the right to be rude on the phone to myself and question our moral standard.

Karate Charlotte is awesome. Spent several years here with our kids and myself. Learned a great deal and still wished I had the time to commit to the sport.

Excellent place to learn and grow.my son started when he was 5 years old and he feels it is like home for him.masters are skilled and friendly.

This is a great Academy with excellent instruction and you can tell the owners and teachers take great pride in helping people achieve their goals through Martial Arts. If you are in the area I highly recommend training at this Academy whether it is for you or your children.

We LOVE Karate Charlotte!!! Our 10 year old son started the program 2 years ago, and I must say it has been worth every penny, and every drive to class! While learning the beautiful art of TKD, he is also learning a multitude of life skills that will take him far. The level of respect, discipline, self control, and team spirit is unparalleled to any other organization we have tried. Mr. Streicher is an amazing role model, both physically and morally, and he has my full trust, along with his great staff. I am so grateful to know that my son will always have a place to go and learn, and grow (especially with the teenage years coming), and I fully plan on keeping our son at Karate Charlotte for years to come!Much love and thanks from our family to the Karate Charlotte family!
