Great place and extremely helpful staff. Ive been there a few times dealing with my kids rentals and left happy each time. Im definitely considering letting my kids get a few private lessons.

Very happy with this place, my son does piano here. His instructor is amazing! The facility has so many options of musical instruments and equipment. Good location.

The staff is extremely helpful and easy to work with! They went above and beyond my expectations in order to help me with my purchase. Jordan was great, and he even worked with other locations so that I could try the instrument I was looking for before I made my decision. I cant thank Jordan and staff enough!

These guys are awesome. Super helpful, and always willing to get you going no matter what. I took in a broken guitar (that I didnt purchase from them), and it needed parts replaced. They didnt charge me a thing for the fix or parts. Fantastic customer service.

They have Great service and they fix your instrument, they dont get mad and they have a wonderful service and they have rhe best attetude and they treat u very well.

The employees are not competent enough to run a retail operation. I waited in a line that did not move one single customer through for 15-20 minutes in an attempt to purchase a simple $7 recorder for my sons school music class. We had to leave without making the purchase. Not fair that folks looking to make a purchase get stuck in a general customer service line with all other manner of inquiries.

Very friendly people... Great service. And the prices are reasonable. We had to get a trumpet for our daughters band class and am so glad we were told to go there.

I went to the store to see if they had this soprano saxophone I was looking to buy. They said they had 5 left in stock and that I could go home and purchases it. So I drove home and ordered it. Then I get an email saying they were out of stock, after I ordered it. While I was at the store I bought a pack of reeds for the sax I didnt get so I went a week later to return them. They took them back fine, but when I told an employee at the store he said, Oh, that happens.

So far Id give this place 5 stars. Everyone was very nice and kind to me and said they will have my trumpet ready soon!

My daughter takes lesson here and their great but if you ever need to speak with staff they have a disrespectfully long wait time. If you need to speak with someone expect to wait in line for 30 minutes to an hour. No joke.

Renter beware! My daughter rented an instrument for her first year of band. They tell you at the beginning that you will be able to earn rental credit and apply it towards a purchase later. Well, guess what, they dont tell you the full story. When you go to buy you find out that you can only use the rental credit towards the purchase of the same brand and they dont recommend you purchase that brand! Maybe I didnt hear it right? Well, I heard them give the same story without those minor details while I was just in the store talking about the purchase. Very unethical and dishonest!

I asked for a very specific trumpet mouthpiece repair. Its a simple mandrel to repair the end of it. They told me to come in and theyll look at it. All they needed to tell me was they didnt have the tool. I went there for nothing. They just wanted me in the store to buy something.They shouldnt assume Im a beginner who knows nothing. Ive repaired HORNS myself and am a working pro.

Worked with the staff here (particularly Jordan and Naomi) on a recent short-term instrument rental; everyone I worked with was so friendly and thorough, and they answered all of my questions. Will definitely return to this store when Im back in the area.

Worst customer service ever !! My daughter bought a flute for her school and they sold us insurance saying we could get the flute cleaned as many times as we want, a loaner would be provided in the interim and after 2-3 clean it covers for the cost of the insurance. Its been almost 4 months of us trying to give it for cleaning and everytime we are told a loaner flute is not available. Have visited the store multiple times, called hundreds of times. The store manager Rachel does not bother to return calls. We feel we have been ripped off. This store doesnt deserve even a single star ! PLEASE DO NOT BUY THEIR INSURANCE ! ITS A SCAM

Renters beware:We rented a cello thinking that we would try several different types and pick the one right for us.Turns out they only have one type and it is beginner level.We returned it within the first 7 days but they refuse to give us a refund.It is not in the contract that there is no refund so be careful before you rent.The instruments are very over priced.Customer service was not helpful.I do not suggest this company.

Ive been going here for seven years to buy things like rosin, bows, strings, and music for my cello. I went in on August 7, 2016 to buy Rosin cleaner to clean the excess rosin off of my cello that has built up over the years (I clean it frequently but we use this in my high school on the instruments to make them look new again). They didnt have it, which is fine, but when I asked a salesperson if they did, she rudely replied to me that I should clean off all the rosin on the strings each time after I play. She then went in to telling me how to properly clean my cello and to even use a dirty dishrag if I dont have anything else. She was very stuck up and kept talking to me like I was child. I know this may sound petty, but Ive been playing cello for 7 years now, I take very good care of my instrument and all I wanted was the cleaner which makes the cello even cleaner. I did not expect someone to be that stuck up when asked a simple question.

Ugh. Line is ridiculous. Slowest service ever and no way to pick up an online order without waiting behind people asking questions and figuring out what they want to order. Over 15 minutes and theyre not even finished with 1 customer.

The workers are so nice and when I walk in the door they said hi. When I bought my instrument they help me set up lessons, by far they are the best music store around.

Received misinformation when I purchased a used flute from them. Too bad since I am building a music department with several instruments in an afternoon enrichment program. Unfortunately, they lost my business. Will continue to buy equipment from other music stores in Charlotte.

Wait time is about 10 minutes per person, so I waited for a about 30-40 minutes since there were 3 people in front of me.

Very poor customer service ~ We came into Music and Arts on July 10th, 2016 to have my daughter measured for a beginner violin. They were very helpful and we were told the violin would be in on the 12th, or the 15th at the latest. I called to follow up on the 19th and was treated as if they had no idea what I was talking about. Once I filled them in, I was then told the violin would be in on the 29th. I called to confirm on the 25th and no one answered the phone for several hours. I gave up getting the violin from Music and Arts and called to inform them we had gone elsewhere. I was simply told very sorry, but glad it all worked out for you. If you are in Union County, NC......definitely go to Holloway Music in Monroe. They were exceptionally helpful, honest, friendly, and were able to take care of all our needs immediately.
