Management changes frequently. Highest turnover rate in history. The staff do not watch the children, the kids watch themselves. No communication. Rude staff and management. Increased tuition just to provide poorer care. Would not recommend to anymore. This place should be CLOSED!

My son has been at the Sunshine house since he was 14 weeks old. They have done a fabulous job with him (he’s now 2). They hire the best teachers/caregivers who really do care about your child! As a mom you worry about who is taking care of your child, but with the Sunshine house on Little Ave, I have never worried!! Such a relief to know my son is in their caring hands. He is interacted with, around other sweet children, and educated even being so young! I’m amazed at what he comes home and tells me about! Finding the right day care is hard, but I’m so happy we’ve found the Sunshine house! Krista, the director, is very informative and communicates very quickly. Her assistant Chris is also helpful when Krista is not available. And the Sunshine House App has been awesome!! I’m able to see pictures, find out what he’s eaten, nap times/length, and general activities!! It’s fantastic and comforting!! If you’re on the fence, this is really a great location and great people taking care of your child!!

My son has been with this location of Sunshine House for about 6 months and we love it!! The school is great and the teachers are so sweet and friendly. In these last 6 months, my son has become more sociable, friendly, strong willed, and is learning so much. I trust my son is in good hands every day I leave him with his teachers. Plus the office staff is easy to work with and very friendly as well. We are very happy with our decision to have our son at this Sunshine House!

My daughter has been attending this location since she was 14 weeks old and she is now 2. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and facility. She loves her teachers, learns so much everyday and is a happy child, which ultimately makes me happy. We recently had a health scare with our daughter and Sunshine House played a very significant role in protecting her and assessing the situation so she was properly taken care of until I could arrive. Every doctor and nurse that we came in contact with that day continued to say, your daycare should be commended on their fast moving approach in noticing something wasnt right. I would recommend this center to anyone and everyone. They have made me feel like a family member and I certainly hope they know how important they are to mine!

We have overall had a very good experience so far with the Sunshine House. Being a teacher and a first time mother I was very skeptical when looking for childcare. The teachers are always very friendly and I can tell that my daughter doesnt dread getting dropped off every day. I also enjoy being able to follow her stream on the app and seeing pictures of the different activities they are doing.

We love the Sunshine House! The teachers and directors are amazing! The school provides an excellent and safe learning environment for our daughter to learn and grow in. I would highly recommend them for early childhood care and education.

Both of my daughters go to school at the Sunshine House on Little Ave. The staff is amazing!! Not only are they loving and kind but they also help to build their character, confidence and development. Everyday when I drop them off they love that they will be spending the day there. They even pick my oldest up at school and get her to after school safely! When I pick them up they tell me about all of the fun they had. Every member of the staff says hello and cares greatly about the kids, not just about the ones in their class. Not only the teachers but the directors are amazing people and I would not have my children anywhere else! What else could a parent want than a place where their children are safe and happy.

My children have been at this location for several months now and I am so happy I transferred to them. They are attentive and really care for your children’s well being. The teachers care about each child and you can see that they love what they do.

The best Childcare Center a kid could ever attend and the parents can rest assured!!! Currently we have been enrolled at the Center for 2yrs! 3yr old and 11wk old(started care at 6weeks) NOTHING but a great exp. from the Admin/Teachers/Dietary! Whole Heartedly trust all staff! My children has been going here for years. My children love it here and they love the staff. They treat you like family. This is a great learning place for children and a great summer program.

My daughter attended here for a little over 6 months. The staff was always friendly and caring, we never had any problems. I felt like she was always in good hands no matter what. We are going to miss this place!

We like this center and the staff. Our kids seem happy when we pick them up but weve noticed a drop in communication and increase in turnover in the past few months. I loved receiving updates on my kids while at work (pictures, details about their meals, etc.) - unfortunately, these have now dropped off and were only told when they were checked in and checked out. All in all a good experience and would recommend to others but hope there will be some improvements.

My son has been at The Sunshine House since June/July 2017 and we both love it! The location is perfect and the staff are friendly and personable. Thank you to the entire Sunshine House team for all that you do for my little one. We appreciate you!

My daughter has been at Sunshine House since she was 4 months old. We have had a great experience with all the teachers and staff. She loves going to school everyday!

What a loving facility that feels more like family than just faculty. My oldest has been there for 4 years and my youngest for 2. My kids have learned so much and are so loved. Couldnt recommend it enough. My 5 year old is more than prepared for Kindergarten and is already beginning to read.

My kids started going there only a few weeks ago and the staff is excellent! I have twin girls and a newborn that attend. It’s really nice to have a place to drop your babies off at and people take of them as their own.

I am a Parent of a 2yr old and I have called this place several times to get rates and to ask other questions. 1st off half the time the phone just rings no one ever pics up and my thing is how do they not know that it might be a parent calling. 2 when someone does pick up I barely get any of my questions answered because whomever I speak with says they are not sure or just plan out doesnt know at all. 3, they tell me that they will give my name and number to the director so she can further assist me with my questions but I have never receive a call back. I think it is very unprofessional for a business not to return phone calls in a timely manner and the bad thing is I have been going through this for several months. Not sure why I even keep calling back

My daughter is 17 months old and she has been going to the Sunshine House on Little Ave. for almost 2 months now. She would cry everytime dropped her off for about 2 weeks and they reassured me she would be fine and when I pick her up she was happy and playing with all her new friends. She loves her teachers now an no longer crys when I drop her off. She had growed up so much just in the short time she has been going here. I am very happy we found this center.

The administration team was wonderful! They answered the many questions we had during the phone call and tour!

Absolute worst daycare and incompetent staff whom allow the children to have free reign on doing nasty, mean things to other kids like its normal. I had my child here for one day and one kid kicked my child in the eye and the Hispanic female teacher/babysitter did not Intervene when alerted by my child. Shortly thereafter another incident occurred when another child hawk spat on my childs face and again the same teacher was sitting in a chair with zero redirection or intervention. Needless to say, my child has never experienced this multitude of abuse from any center because the staff at his home school actually care about the kids. Mybson was very upset and visibly sad upon me picking him up. He said this was a bad school and the staff didnt help him and he also told me about other kids whom had their hair pulled and yanked eyc. This center on Little avenue was a nightmare and the staff comes across as very dismissive when you try to talk about these assaults on your child. I immediately spoke with the hispanic lady to which I watched her TRY to convince my son that it never happened because the child my son thought was a girl was actually a boy with 2 puff ball ponytails!!!! Like really, the boy looked like a girl and the boy spat like thats the environment hes comfortable with. I explained to the teacher that my son is honest and I believe everything he advised. The teacher was only concerned with lying on a child to save face but I saw completely through her gig and the butch lady whom obviously wanted to smooth things over in a very scripted and sarcastic way just further showed me that this center has zero values and they coverup in house issues up while blatantly lying to parents that their kids had a great day. No incident reports or anything were provided. Lastly, I was told that the director Krista M. would personally contact me to discuss the matter and that has yet to happen. No decency, very unprofessional, and no way to run a center and allowing other kids to be spat on deliberately which is assault and outside of the scope of childs play. Please keep your children away from this center if you love them. The staff will cover up for one another when in the wrong. Choosing this center was the biggest mistake I could have ever made. I thoughtt my child was left in good hands, but in retrospect this center is ran like a zoo. I would not recommend this Sunshine house or its affiliates. More reports will be filed against this center specifically.
