Im totally new to combat sports/ martial arts. They made my son and I feel welcome and comfortable. The prices seem reasonable. (That is an educated guess, as I did zero shopping other places). My 7 year old is enjoying it and Im learning a lot and getting a great workout. It doesnt hurt to have a Top 3 UFC Bantamweight teaching Muy Thai either

Recently, I’ve heard that the gym reopened which I think is still far too early and we can’t forget we’re in a pandemic. Millions of people died just in the US and died alone to prevent the spread to their families. Having 15-20 people without a mask in a room, when the virus is airborne, is just too much of a risk and goes against social distancing. Opening the gym now, rolling around in each other’s sweat, and being able to change partners, is going against everything essential workers are doing to prevent the spread of the virus. Even if you are doing this and doing that, it’s simply not enough. Truly disappointed that you would take precautions for the younger children, but allow ignorance in the advance/intermediate class.

Great place to get top BJJ training. This place is extremely clean and took all the covid precautions which made me feel safer to train. I came in as a drop in because I was visiting the area and I was welcomed with open arms!!

I’ve been here for over a year now and I do not regret coming here one bit. It’s a great community where you can learn the skills of self defense and make friends. I started with no experience at 13 getting beat up by kids younger than me and now I feel so much more confident in my skills. The coaches definitely helped guide me to where I am right now and still are guiding and supporting me. This place showed me a new hobby I like to think seriously about. You should definitely take the chance to train here.

Family oriented, professional, and experienced owner/teachers that treat their students as extended family. Plenty of individual feedback from instructors, support from other students, and teamwork overall. Positive learning environment.

Started training here less than a year ago but Im completely hooked. Everyone at this place has been so genuine, friendly, and encouraging. The instructors here are truly world class and all of the upper belts spend time helping and giving advice rather than just treating you as a practice dummy. Respect starts right from the top with welcoming coaches and teammates that have really created a family atmosphere. Im inspired everyday by this amazing group of people and feel extremely fortunate to have found a place here. Learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is not easy but if you can surround yourself with a team like this it feels like anything is possible. (Im over 40 and have lost nearly 30 lbs so far...)

Outstanding programs for kids. My daughter (6 years old now) has been here for 2 years and has loved every class. The coaches have a tremendous amount of patience, experience, skill, and tack. Classes are an hour long and she attends 3 days a week.

Great team led by IBJJF top ranked competitors in Juliana and Raphael. Very friendly environment that is very welcoming of new comers and experienced alike. Kickboxing coach Murillo is a great guy, black belt in both kickboxing and jiu jitsu. BJJ Coach Eduardo is another very active and experienced black belt competitor. Come train here. They have a very diverse group at all belt levels!

The gym is absolutely incredible. The instructors are VERY knowledgable and take the time to teach. Im a newbie to BJJ, and the support from both coaches and athletes has been such a positive experience.If you are looking for a place to train BJJ, Fenix BJJ in Lowell/Chelmsford is the place to go.
