The transportation department is poor. My child and others are dropped off by a busy intersection instead of the parking lot of the day which is only a few feet away, but the transportation department refuses to address this issue.CPS also closes at the drop of a hat for everything! The school has only been in session for 7 days in the last three weeks!!Please prepare better for next year.

We have moved and attending hickory for 18 months now. My first request to have my daughter helped in a math class to change teachers has been denied without a reason. Well, Ms. Alveria A Coles at Hickory High School in Chesapeake, VA has been not helpful with a resolution other than, we dont allow teacher changes. For a school that is suppose to help their students, this assistant principle for instruction has only said this is the way we do it and basically they dont care about my daughters needs in their school. I am beyond disappointmented with the handling of the FIRST request for help with my daughters education.

Nice administration building, but the parking situation is often troublesome. First, see if there are any open spots in the two rows of parking on the other side of Holt Dr. If not, drive out the west side of the lot and see if there is available guest parking at great bridge primary. As a last resort, use the little gravel lot at the north end of the school parking lot, near the trees. The staff are super friendly and helpful here. All visitors must enter through the front door and sign in with the receptionist. There are restrooms on both sides of the building with water fountains.

Marsha in transportation is rude she reads the ID caller to identify you and your phone number and has refused to let me speak to the appropriate person and when I told her I’m recording the call I got transferred how ever the concern is that my son is on the bus too long and because they don’t want to accommodate my son they are trying to say he is not on the bus for over an hour and five minutes cause I clock the time the bus pulls up and the teacher stated what time he gets to school. My son is special needs and he says he is ok the bus too long. So I have been taking him to school in the mornings. To accommodate him.

I Got A Call From Chesapeake Public School Telling me Full Grown Man About The Storm Am A Small Little Business My Wife And I Dont Have Kids Right We are More Concern About Our Careers. Wife And I Live In VA BCH Not Chesapeake..
