Tracys Dojo West is fantastic. The instructors are friendly and have a teaching style that my whole family really does well with (our ages range from 8 to nearly 40.) The teachers here are also genuine and accomplished fighters. Theyre the real deal. I will also say that I greatly appreciate how our teacher is demonstrating the techniques he knows work from personal experience and gives really useful commentary and advice. Im having a fantastic time at this school.

I started here at Tracys Karate back in October of 2018 to try to get back into shape (Im now in the best shape of my life). Going here has been one of the best improvements to my life that Ive ever experienced. The private lessons are customized for each student (each student has different strengths). The group classes are an excellent workout and are fun (I definitely prefer this over going to a traditional gym). The sparring classes are also fun and add additional cardio and you learn how to not get hit. On top of all of this, it is like becoming a part of a new family. Needless to say, Tracys Karate West has changed my life for the better.

My oldest son started receiving lessons from Ben at seven years old and is continuing to this day at 15. He is now a black belt and his experience has taught him the value of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. The experience has instilled him with great confidence and a tremendous sense of accomplishment. We just started our six year old son so he can follow in big brother’s footsteps. Ben has been a big part in helping our son become the best person he can be. We can’t recommended him and Tracy’s enough.

My son has really enjoyed his karate lessons here. He has learned so much in a short amount of time. Ben Pratt does a great job working with kids and adults alike. I know several people who have taken a self-defense class here as well, and they all would recommend coming to Tracys Karate in Chesterfield!

We were looking for karate lessons for our 7-year old daughter, and Tracys Karate already had a strong reputation as a top notch studio in St. Louis. We were thrilled to find that the new location in Chesterfield, in addition to being close to home for us, is every bit the top notch studio we were looking for, and then some. They teach all ages and experience levels with ease, and we love the emphasis on safety and the power it gives to our daughter to feel like she could defend herself if need be. Overall, we couldnt be happier with the studio and the convenient new location!

I have been Bens student since I was in middle school. He is very professional and has helped me over the years to learn not only karate but discipline and self control. His studio is always clean and the other students are friendly and helpful. I would recommend Tracys to anyone willing to learn martial arts.

I started training with Tracys Karate in 2008, and I would recommend them to anyone. My private lessons are fun, Ben Pratt will patiently work with me if Im not getting it, and Ive found sparring to be both game and sport.
