My grandson started attending Wee Care in Chesterton at the beginning of summer. He was coming from a situation where he wasnt excited to go to school and I felt like a failure as not only a grandparent, but as an early childhood advocate/educator myself. I know how important it is for a child to feel welcomed and important in their school setting. When my grandson walks into Wee Care, he is welcomed by not only by the staff-not only his teachers, but also other children. He is excited to get out of the car and go and play and learn. The staff is encouraging, loving and play with the children while being engaged in teaching the children the skills they need to grow and learn. He tells me about his day and his teachers also communicate about what he did during the day since he is still little. Thank you Danielle, Holly and Staff for making a difference in our daily life and giving my grandson that love of school again!
