This place just sucks. Everything about sucks. The only good thing about this school is Mr.Arrizi(the band teacher). The teachers suck otherwise

I go to this school and I have to say, most, if not all of these comments are from students who are mad at the system, which is flawed to make the more academic ones prosper, but as Kyle Prow, one of my favorite teachers, said below, there are bullies, the staff cant get everything right. The dress code is flawed alot, though, where the teachers picks get the better end of the stick, which I must say has happened in my experience, whether it be on the good or bad side.Why I am righting this with a obvious fake name you ask? Simple, the school obviously reads these, and I dont want to be caught biting the hand that feeds me.

I go to this school and I feel that is pretty good in my opinion but it does have its downfalls. Im in seventh grade and my thought Id that there are allot of mean people like Mrs. Craven, Mrs. Keilmen, and Mr. Young. Im sorry If you know these people but Im just saying the truth on my side

I teach at Chesterton Middle School and while, I will admit, no school is perfect, Chesterton Middle School does a very nice job with bullying and social issues, among other things. Middle School is one of the toughest times for any young adult, myself included. If we had these google reviews back when I was in middle school I probably would have given my middle school a 1 star like many others in this forum because I, too, was bullied. I hope others dont look at a handful of reviews posted from students or parents that have had issues with the school as a judgement of the school itself. I hope those that posted can look back and remember that with every issue they had with the school or other individuals they had some great moments as well. God bless

Cms is such a great school to learn and get things done. It is such an amazing habitat and I dont get why people rate it that way. They feed us well. Sloppy joes are gross but I lovvve it.

Mr okeley takes my dunkin donuts coffee and donuts all the time, that i paid for with my own money. He stopped me one day took it, then the next day talked to 3 girls who all had the same thing as me, but he did nothing about it and didnt even mention it. It isnt fair, no other teacher does it. Like i was having a conversation with the principle as i had coffee in my hand. school needs to chill big time

Dont come here way to much drama and their are lots of kids that will talk bad about. The principal is super mean to the students. Go to a different school for 7th and 8th grade. This school sucks.

1 star. decent game, too much water

I have to give this school a review of one star.Why you may ask,well last year a girl told me she was going to Blow my brains out,spit on my grave then dance on my grave.I told the Vice Principal about it and she didnt get anything,no suspension,no detention,no nothing.Then this year I got a Friday detention for yelling out dismissal during lunch and I was on the football team and I was told I should knock it off or I would be kicked off the team.So my mom went to the school and cussed out the Dean and the reason why the girl didnt get anything for her actions was because he felt that what she said to me that she really didnt mean it and that she was hormonal,which is the stupidest excuse to use in that situation,plus when I got death threatened they didnt call my parents at all.Later this year a kid told me he wanted to fight me and called me ****ing retarded in front of me and another student which he also wanted to fight.So me and the other student went up to the main office and asked for a restraint plan which can be made according to the CMS assignment book.Then we talked to the Vice Principal who told us to knock it off what we are doing,we didnt do anything for us to get that.Then the student that wanted to fight us told the Vice Principal that me and him were ganging up on him.The Vice Principal believed it and later that day a student overheard them talking about that with the staff in the main office and they laughed.They show us a bullying video saying the staff should be able to know and try and stop bullying since CMS is a Zero Tolerance school.That is a bunch of bull,that is why I suggest you do not go to CMS as a student.Believe me,you will regret coming here.That is why CMS deserves 1 star out of me.

This school sucks and is the worst school I been too with many problems and treat you terribly. I dont even follow the written rules. The dress code is terrible. I would give this a negative thousand out of the positive 10 This conclues this very crappy school how some how has 4 stars which deserves none

This is the most inept school I have ever experienced that I cant even give it 1 star! This school claims it has a no tolerance on bullying and their way of not tolerating is looking the other way and acting oblivious. And we wonder why we have school shootings, its because the schools these days and their lack of dealing with this issue. This school needs to pull their heads out of their butt and get control over the kids here instead of letting these pathetic kids control the school. I realize not all the kids are like this but it sure as hell seems like its the majority. From what I can see, there is no Anti-bullying program put in place here, this crap needs to be pounded into these kids early on in the elementary ages so that by the time these kids get to middle school they can get along as a group and support each other instead of trying to figure out who can crap on the others the most. School life is hard enough as it is, and then to have this kind of behavior going on and nothing being done to change it angers me. If those kids dont want to play by the rules ship them off to an adult school and leave a positive environment to those kids that really care about their education. I would highly not recommend sending your kids to this school if you can at all help it, until they decide to take matters into their own hands and improve the environment at this school.
