This is a wonderful supportive environment with trained proffessionals who promote positive growth and self discipline for youth and adults.

We had classes on my days off and it was at a great time. My daughter and I were able to do our classes right after each other. However, due to the quantity of new people signing up for classes they had to change my class time and it made it very difficult for me to make it to classes, have quality time with my family, get to bed early enough for work, and also study for my job. When I thought I was going to have to quit and just eat the cost of my class, Tyler (owner) was willing to work with me so that I could make it to a class and keep on learning. This is an amazing place to learn and be. I have never felt so welcomed by a company as I do now. On top of all of that my daughter loves her classes. I definitely recommend 10/10.

While my family really liked the staff and lessons I cannot say I like the business practices. In the times I have tried to reach the owner to discuss anything it has always taken me reaching out more than once and a prolonged response time to hear back. We also live nearly an hour away and when we signed the contract we were told if it became an issue they would work with us clearly we should have asked exactly what that meant as I believed we would be able to come to an agreement not be basically s.o.l. Ironically if we had moved over 25 miles away we would have been let out of our contract but since we already lived over 25 miles away we were not. Almost seems like we tried to go out of our way to give them our business because we liked then and how friendly they were as well as the way they were with the kids and were penalized for it. It is too bad we would have liked for our other children to have lessons if and when the time came and would not pursue lessons there again at this point.

The best environment, best instructors! I can rely on the fact that I can defend myself if ever needed with confidence because of Mr. Leihsing and his amazing staff! I also wouldnt take my children anywhere else! Clean, friendly and organized!

We love this school! Our whole family trains except the youngest who loves watching her big sisters train. We like the flexibility of class times and being able to make up classes if we miss a day. Sensei Tyler teaches respect, focus, hard work and everything else that makes a good martial artist. Kids classes are the perfect combination of fun and learning karate skills. The dojo is kept clean and neat. There is plenty of seating for parents to watch their kids. And we get a family discount so it ends up being quite a deal!

This place is amazing it is family orientated. They have a very flexible schedule and are grate about working with you. They do grate to work with kids that need a little extra help. If your kids is struggling in any way mood or behavior it is a grate place to help give them something to look forward to also to maybe help level mood out and have some place to have a release of energy if that is what you are looking for. This place is just all around amazing it has helped my kids become the grate leaders they are today.

I love this place! The instruction is top notch, honorable, and family friendly. Sensei Leihsings ability to work with children is amazing (my son is enrolled), and my experience as one of his adult students has been fantastic. I consider it a great honor and privilege to be one of Sensei Leihsings students.

Everyone here is great to work with, not just the teachers but the other students as well. Taking karate lessons has been something I have always wanted to do and now, at almost 50 years of age, I am glad I am doing it. This school has a great learning environment and has been fantastic. I would recommend American Martial Arts Systems to anyone who is interested in studying martial arts.

I really do wish that I could give a 5 star rating because the instruction and the lessons were good and kept our 5 year old engaged. The down side of this business is that we were mislead by Tyler when we signed our 1 year contract for almost $150 a month. We live 45 miles away from Cheyenne and our concern was our ability to make the drive back and forth , trying to fit in the kempo classes with our childrens school schedule. At the time that we signed the contract the owner told us and reassured us that if it became to much for us we could figure something out. Well here we are trying to figure something out and the something is that you will be held to this contract regardless of what you are told at the signing. Because of the covid-19 virus I was furloughed a month ago and my un employment is 1/3 of what it was, American martial arts has closed its doors for public classes so even if we wanted to attend we could not, we are still being charged for classes that are not being conducted and no one will return our phone calls. Maybe someone should have the owner of this business attend some classes on integrity,compassion and up front business practices to include basic business ethics and this would help this business achieve 2 more stars from someone who is struggling to make ends meet in these crazy times.

I enjoy being a student as well as a parent of students of this school. I find it very rewarding to train along side my children at a school we all feel teaches life skills and self defense on a personal level. Great school!

The American Martial Arts System is an exemplary school of impeccable standards. Mr. Tyler Leishing is an outstanding individual both as a teacher/instructor. American Martial Arts Systems in my opinion has one of the best programs in the country. They help you develop self discipline and confidence. Children, women, and men can all benefit from the great programs offered here! I have been a student of Mr. Leihsing on and off since the late 80s both as a child, and as an adult. During my youth I was an avid competitor in the martial arts tournaments in the Colorado/Wyoming area. Mr. Leihsing was always in my corner coaching and providing me with valuable feedback not just how I could improve as a martial artist but also as a person. As a young adult I had the opportunity of being an instructor in Mr. Leihsings school. I was humbled by the opportunity and was very proud of my time with the school. The only reason I am not still there today is because I moved out of the area. If you are considering any martial arts instruction, check this place out!

They use your money while on vacation for other children. They have contracts that offer non refunds especially to military families. Do not go here!!!!

They were very friendly and opened at the introduction. When discussing the sign up, we specifically stated that we didnt know if our son would like to stick to it on the long term and that we just wanted to give it a try. They answered with a very vague Well work with him if he donts feel like to continue. In our naive minds we thought this was straight forward talking. Months later my son and I (yes, I hated going there) decided to stop and the answer when we requested to cancel the membership is that it is a year contract. When confronted about our first conversation then they simply denied it saying I didnt say you could sign out at any point. In conclusion, we are paying a monthly payment for a class my son is not taking because he doesnt enjoy at all (maybe it works for other kids, but not mine). On the positive side, the teachers are nice. On the negative side, the place is very run down and dirty (I dreaded having to take him to class, and thorougly washed his feet afterwards) , and it seems like they use the yearly contract to keep you hooked. To me this sounds very fishy.
