Well today was my kids last day of summer camp. They have had a fun summer of many activities to do with their friends. The staff always had something fun to do. Go to different parks, swimming , roller skating, the movies, and put put just to name a few. Im so thankful that they have a wonderful team of people who work hard to make sure my kids summer was filled with plenty of fun activities. We will definitely be using the YMCA for summer camp next year.

Poor quality, poor value, hardly professional, and NOT RELIABLE. One star because this place is a dump. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I had an amazing experience at the YMCA in Cheyenne. I am traveling cross country to visit friends and didn’t want to give up my daily aquatic regimen. The facility was clean and the staff were friendly. I got the sense they cared about there members from listening to a few of them talk. The aquatics director really engages with people, members and visitors (that’s me) alike. I enjoyed my experience so much, I ended up staying in the water 1.5 hours 🙂. Thanks Cheyenne for having me!!!

The staff is friendly and the services the Y provides is good. I give 2 stars because this place is long over due for a major upgrade. Majority of the equipment should have been upgraded 10-15 years ago.

When I was younger I spent so many hours here with my mom in the nursery and the pool, the playground in the back area. I can kind of remember the smell of the craft closet, I loved looking for new things to make, and also playing on the scooters in the gym area. 💖 very fond memories here

I love coming here! Knowledgeable and supportive staff. Great selection of classes and a Kid Zone so I can work out while my son plays with the friendly teachers. Very appreciative of this great establishment!

I called to cancel my membership and was told it would be cancelled due to my circumstances (normally they force people to walk in and cancel in person, obviously a shady way of trying to keep memberships longer). However, my card was charged for October. I called in again and spoke again with Brianna, who apologized and told me she would get it cancelled this time. The next day, my card was charged another $69.99. I called a third time and spoke with Brianna, who told me that was the November charge, and she had to wait for it to completely post, but then she would credit that as well as the October charge, since both were not supposed to hit my card. A few days later my card was credited for one month. I called a fourth time and had to leave Brianna a message. She did not call me back, rather she emailed me and told me she was only able to get the November refund approved. She had already promised me to cancel both. I have emailed back and forth with her and have now asked FOUR times for her to honor her word or give me the name of the person I can contact to get the credit. I am at my wits end. The woman won’t call me back, refuses to give me the name of a supervisor, and refuses to acknowledge the fact that SHE promised I would see two credits. I am sad to have this experience with them, because my family and I have been members for many years, and were just cancelling temporarily while we cannot use the pool. I participated in fundraisers and donated money. Swam laps for a 24 hour relay fundraiser. Attended hundreds of water aerobics classes over the years. This is how they treat loyal members of the YMCA. I unfortunately do NOT recommend joining or contributing money to this location.

I am very fortunate enough to rub elbows with several of the ladies that work at the YMCA! They are always fantastic! Gina and Chris especially! It’s always a pleasure to see everyone’s smiling faces when I walk through the door!

Staff was helpful. Hot tub was nice. The lifeguard however deserves to be waterboarded or needs to drink exclusively, pass out and choke on his own vomit. My dad had no clue how to swim and ended up sinking in the deep end (only reason why he was there was because he attempted to get the ball for monkey in the middle) Lifeguard failed miserably to notice him struggling and I swam from the shallow water and pulled him up by that point he was touching the bottom of the pool. Water got into his lungs. If I was in the hot tub it would have gone completely unnoticed and God knows what could have happened.

Im very happy with the YMCA its a great place so many things you can do here my kids really enjoyed it when I brought them here when they were growing up but my husband got angry when I brought my kids because he felt that it was a big waste of time well I did not feel this way because it gave them something to do and kept them from playing video games all the time and they both enjoyed swimming but I really do enjoy coming here and swimming and doing a needed workout and get some needed exercise in so myself and my youngest son come here as much as we can and will continue to do so. thank you YMCA HATS OFF TO YOU

Giving 3 stars because the people who run the front desk are some of the rudest people i have ever encountered in my entire life. The first time i came to the Y i asked for a specific person who works there to give me a tour of the facility and they rudely asked of she was expecting me. I replied with probably not but i would like a tour please. The second time i came with my sister to use a guest pass we had gotten because we wanted to try a class. When i walked in there were 3 people behind the desk. One was helping someone already but there was a young man and a woman that were just standing there. My sister and i walked up to the desk to give them my guest pass and the lady just walked away without acknowedging me at all. Then the young man walked away without acknowledging me as well then i turned to my right and he snapped his fingers at me and pointed to a book that I guess i was supposed to sign into. I have never had such bad customer service in my entire life. They were appalingly rude and inconsiderate of their PAYING customers. Ive taken 2 classes at the Y and they were amazing. The only problem is literally the front desk people.

Still trying to find out why I have a membership here. As I set up my membership both people behind the counter were rather unskillful as they didn’t know how to set up a direct debit for membership and one person had no idea what the difference between a routing number and account number was and didn’t believe me when I told him which was which. Oh signing up was a nightmare. Also not the best facilities and I don’t know why people under 15 can’t ise hot tub. Their showers aren’t always hot, their hallway to the shower room is icy cold and their pool is always colder than their white board claims it is. I love the parent tot lessons and that instructor is great but very poor front counter staff and management.

My only gripe is they make customers come in to register because they dont have a secure phone system and wont take payment over the phone. This is a huge inconvenience especially in 2017! Hopefully, they will consider catering to their customers by updating their phone lines.

My husband and went swimming today and multiple times while we were there we got dirty looks and then a lifeguard came over to us and told us we couldn’t swim near each other because “this is a family place and multiple lifeguards noticed us touching”. We had only been there 10 minutes and hadn’t touched one time other than his hair once. In fact, I was swimming a couple feet away from him for most of the time. We left after that because we felt very targeted. We will not be back.

We are members of a Y in a different state and were in from out of town. My mom cannot walk well and needs to exercise in a pool. We called ahead and were assured that my mother could get in the pool in the morning. When we got there the lady at the front desk was on her cell phone, didn’t hang up to help my mom check in, and then was rude and short with her about checking in and when my mom asked about the locker room and pool location, she just waved her hand in the general direction and continued her personal phone call. When my mom had gotten changed and went into the pool area she was informed that she could not get in the pool (even though we had called about access and schedule). My mom asked for an exception to the policy and was again treated rudely by the lifeguards and swim instruction staff. This is an unwelcoming place and gives the great YMCA institution a bad name. They are a poor example of hospitality and acceptance.
