What a GEM! Our kids went to STEM summer camp here and brought home super cool projects every day and learned SO much about science and technology!! When COVID hit last April, we totally lucked out that they had a Learning pod setup. My boys have been there every day and we couldnt have survived this without them. Ive been 100% on autopilot while my wife and I are away at work. She owns two businesses here in the West Loop and Im on conference calls the entire day for my job. We had major concerns about whether our kids would be able to learn remotely!!No concerns anymore!! The team at Stem is AMAZING! Theyre SO good with my uhm very spirited 6 and 8 year old and the biggest blessing is that they help make sure my boys do their homework during the day instead of wasting free time and then requiring us to help them do hwk at night too.And the staff is ridic smart! From nuclear physics majors on, trust me when I say theres not a question your kid wont be able to have answered there!!I love how they infuse learning from youtube, minecraft, roblox etc to keep kids excited about learning!!If you can get in, know that your kids will be the best hands in Chicago for learning!!

We just finished a week of Theme Park engineering camp and my son loved it! We tried this camp again in 2020 after last year’s success. My 7-year old always comes home calm and fulfilled after a day at STEM. They have been open nearly 2 months with COVID health protocols in place and everything seems to be working fine. My son wears a mask all day except for eating and they take a walk to run through the park for recess. Check it out if you need a break from your WFH assistant.

This was the first time my 10-year old went to an educational camp he loved it. I think that the Kids STEM Studio has done a great job in creating an itinerary that is diverse, informative and engaging. The best part is that I can see that he knows how to implement what he learned there. My eldest tested him on coding and even she was amazed.I would just like to tell the team to keep up the good work. You can definitely expect Brian to be there next summer too!

My 10 yr old daughter attended 2 weeks of Summer camp at Kids STEM Studio and I was very impressed. Their Engineering curriculum is very well designed to learn by building working models. I was continually amazed with the models she brought home. My child did not stop talking about the things she built there even after several days after the camp. She also learnt to build and code her own games in a week, even though she has very less exposure to computers and coding. Best place for kids to learn and have fun at the same time.

At Kids STEM Studio, by my 5-yr old takes two classes: coding (where they use Scratch) and robotics (where they build motorized lego models). He really enjoys both classes and has picked up programming principles (not sure about the robotics :)). Teachers are friendly the student/teacher ratio is low. Management has been flexible about rescheduling missing days.In all, a great program!

Kids STEM Studio is such a great place for kids to learn STEM and have fun at the same time. The instructors are highly qualified on the subject and super friendly. The management is very flexible with parents need. My 6 yr old daughter enjoyed every aspect of the camp, be it building Engineering models, Coding and Game design, Minecraft Modding and drone coding. The Engineering projects she brought home are all working models.I highly recommend enrolling your child into their camps and classes

My 9-yr old son attended its summer camp last year and loves its Robotics and other engineering programs. KIDS STEM encourages kids to be creative and inspires kids to learn engineering through fun. We like it because of its specialized themes each week. Best STEM summer program we can find so far for our son who is very into engineering and coding and finds it more interesting than other programs.

My son has attended several school day off camps and he liked every one of them. He loves the Engineering projects and talks about it all week. He was also taught to code and develop his own video game. So cool for a 7 year old. Best place for kids to learn STEM.

My 11 year old really enjoys her robotics classes. After every class she excitedly shows me the coding she has learned, how it builds on previous knowledge, and shows me her robot perform the commands. I can tell she has caring teachers with whom she engages in insightful conversations.

My son gets great support with homework help through Kids STEM Studios after school program. The tutors are kind and kid-focused. He also attends coding class, which is a highlight of his week. The instructor tailors lessons to his interests and provides motivating encouragement. Ms. Maria is the best!

Sadly, our day was an utter disaster. Not only was our 9yo son separated from his two friends (that I clearly checked in together as a group), because they drew a hard line on grade vs. age, but he was placed with the kindergartners and first-graders, while his fellow 9yo 4th grade pals (Nate is an Oct. baby, so on the older end of 3rd grade) did age-appropriate activities. I expressed how upset Nate was when I picked him up, and that I was incredibly disappointed. The most jaw-dropping part of our day happened moments ago when I received a call back from the owner, Mukesh, who was at the airport, and was YELLING via cellphone, angry, belligerent and defensive, insisting and stuttering through excuses that (And I QUOTE), that he cant please 100% of his customers, that Im not getting a refund under any condition, (accusing me that this was my nefarious goal) and that the apologies I received from the VERY nice staff member who made the error in judgment (Maria)were just her trying to be nice and that she Shouldnt have apologized. I only wish I could have recorded this phone call so that you could all hear how I was treated on this call. Im shocked that a Chicago educational center, esp. one that caters to kids, would have this kind of owner and disdain for its customers. My son was in tears and inconsolable when I picked him up at 4, and Mukesh went on to tell me that that was not true - I have security cameras and he wasnt crying (!!!) when I asked why I wasnt called during the day to let me know that my son was this unhappy. I have ZERO issue with refunds or getting money back, my biggest concern was offering feedback on how they can avoid this issue going forward, esp. since other camps handle this concern with a basic dropdown menu request during registration. AVOID this camp at all costs, and most importantly, beware of this unstable and angry owner who has very little appreciation for his young customers and their parents.I see Mukesh has replied and has misrepresented our discussion and claims that I was expecting a full refund. - in fact I did NOT say that -- I mentioned in my e-mail that Maria (staff member) apologized and offered ME the refund, not the other way around. I mentioned that I wanted to follow up with you on her offer -- I am not interested in my money back, I am interested in you being an empathetic, kind and reasonable business owner -- my son did NOT leave camp having had fun, he was sad, crying and miserable. I can share the e-mail if you challenge me on this topic again.
