I graduated from this school in 2007 with a BFA in Advertising and Design. While I never landed a job in the field ( outside of marketing/sales), the fact that I have a degree on my resume helped me gain a career in a different field. Like with anything in life, you get what you put in. Yes, I’m in debt like anybody else that went to any other school but, I learned more from this school than I did at the Illinois Institute of Art —- which was a waste of time.

I had the misfortune of applying here a while ago. While fortunately I couldnt afford it, this place is a scam, as simple as that. Also, my admissions counselor lost my transcripts 3 times until I changed counselors. I think that was god warning me to stay away. Im just waiting for it to have the same faith as ITT.

I attended 1yr in 2001 and im still paying for it. For one yr I attended I acquired over $20,000 in debt. I wish I could just be exempt in still having to pay this. Its been many years of torture. Attending IADT was by far the worst decision Ive ever made.

Wow I am shocked to see such poor reviews. I graduated in 2002 with my B.A. in Merchandising and had a very positive experience with this school. Most of my professors were excellent and I am really happy with the education I received.

Like other reviewers said, this school is a waste of time and money, and they dont help you find a job after graduation like they say they do. Im embarrassed to say that I graduated from IADT, and regret having gone there every day. Also they should be ashamed of their selves for preying on young kids, I was 17 at the time I made the decision to go there after hearing all their lies, I would never do that now.

Dont waste your time dealing with them or any CEC (Career Education Corporation)School theyre not accredited there going to try to make you pay even when youre out of school. Education I got there still not able to get a job in advertising the degree I graduated with. Trying to go for my Masters have to jump through hoops just to get a transcript because now theyre saying I owe $5 theyre ridiculous. Fishing for money that I dont know by stating its only $5 so freaking what its my $5.

Horrible School. The history of reviews solidifies why this college is a scam.

I transferred to IADT after spending 2 years on my Gen ed at a local University. After a year and a half at IADT (3 and a half years into my Animation major) I still hadnt learned a SINGLE thing about animation. Admissions lied to me. They also led me on semester after semester with BS about enrollment issues and prerequisite. They ended up merging with sanfordbrown when I took a semester off to see my dying grandmother.I never looked back. Im thinking of filing a lawsuit against them.
