Our daughter attends school here (Kindergarten, e-learning) currently. They offer parents the choice of in person vs. E-learning. To have those options, That by itself is a great relief for parents. The staff has been nothing but helpful. The teachers are amazing and genuinely care for the education of the kids. My expectations have been surpassed. We are glad we enrolled our kid here.

Our son goes to St. Stans. We had a hard time finding the right school for our son. We wanted a close knit community, a Catholic education, small class size, and high academic standards all at a reasonable price. It felt like finding a needle in a haystack but St. Stans checked all the boxes we were looking for. Its a Catholic school, which allows them to develop the highest quality curriculum and infuse Catholic religious values. It is a diverse and welcoming community of families. It was the perfect mix of everything we were looking for!

This might be long-winded but well deserved. St. Stan’s is a school that I am proud my child attends. A gem that many don’t see in the heart of Wicker Park – After experiencing first-hand the difficulty trying to understand the school system as this is my only-child. The administrative assistant, Ms. Julissa and Marketing Director Jen were a god send. They helped with making sure I understood what was needed from myself from making the financial aid process easy-peasy and taking my fears away. I saw first-hand how much of a family all the staff is, it’s the first school I have seen where the majority of staff knew all the kids by first name and their parents as well. And that’s saying a lot with COVID-19 making its presence known my son wasn’t a number but rather a person. I truly was not a parent that was looking for a school that was faith-based; my goal was making sure my child can excel with a rigorous curriculum.I truly recommend this school to anyone who feels that their child will do better in small classrooms, who truly want their kid to be known for their uniqueness.

We are so impressed with St Stans! My two girls LOVE going to school everyday and the teachers are amazing!!! They go above and beyond for these students daily and my girls are thriving here. We were very uncertain where to send our girls before coming to St Stans, but we can honestly say we made the best decision ever. The girls come back daily with new songs, prayers and things they learned. We are so thankful for everyone at St Stans for taking all the additional protocols to allow for in person learning to happen safely. I would recommend this school to anyone looking. We love it here!

A great place! Hidden in the heart of Chicago . One of the few schools left attached to a church that teaches the true teachings of God The school has gone over a great transformation to teach real Catholic teachings and provide a strong academic background to children. An awesome sanctuary for your family.

As an alumna of St. Stanislaus Kostka School, class of 2013, I enjoyed my learning experience, during school and after school activities, and the leadership program that the school provided and is still ongoing. St. Stans promoted Stephen Coveys 7 habits into our daily lives which helped me become more disciplined and responsible. I practiced my Catholic faith every day and on Wednesday mornings, Fr. Anthony would conduct a school mass either in the church or the chapel at school. I highly recommend this school.

It is an education center where they are interested in helping both parents and students individually, according to the need of each student or family, it’s a safe school, with extraordinary teachers who care about the learning of my 3 children who attend to the school st. Stanislaus Koska Academy of the ages of 3,5 and 8 years. I am blessed that my children are in good hands!

St. Stans is such a supportive and caring community. Your child is not a number at St. Stans. The teachers know each child and their unique personalities, strengths, and weaknesses.

All three of my kids attend this school. Very caring staff! This school has been amazing at keeping our kids safe during this unprecedented time. The teachers are very understanding!I graduated from this school in 2001 and it’s a pleasure to have my kids attend this school now.Teachers from pre-k to 8th grade and all the staff are all very kind and intelligent. Father Tony has been a priest here since I attended school. He is also very caring. He sometimes greets all the kids outside before school. Definitely feels like family here!

St. Stans has been such a wonderful choice for our family. I was very scared to send our girls to preschool during the Covid 19 pandemic but I am so happy we did. The school set protocols and followed them to a T, which allowed our students to stay in school for the entire fall semester until winter break.St. Stans has been a very warm, welcoming community and I could not be more happy with our teachers, the management and the principal. I believe they are taking good care of our girls and we are happy to be in the St. Stans family.

I have been at St.Stans since I was 5 and I am graduating this year. This school has prepared me with so much knowledge and respect for others. St.Stans is like a 2nd home to me. I know that when I Shadowed high schools I did not feel left out because I understood what they were talking about. All thanks to this school because it prepares you for the years ahead and I will always be grateful.

Nice place, that review from the guy complaining about Mr.Thomas and Mrs. Hunter is half true. Mrs. Hunter was a true teacher from hell. Mr. Thomas is an aide and basketball coach, he is a nice guy whos job is to help the teachers. The bathrooms are bad because the little kids. I used to go here. They cared about the students even when they couldnt offer much because of debt. Nice community. Mrs. Hunter is gone.

My 3 yr old son is in the summer camp program at SSKS. My son immediately displayed some new skills; he understood the days of the week within the first week at SSKS, he started to spell out words, and also was writing rather legibly his name! In the span of 2 weeks I saw multiple new skills! Additionally, I was also impressed that my overly active son was coming home tired thanks to the spacious playground(s), gym, field trips, and pool outings for the summer program. I am pleased he is also doing some math exercises, discussing social-emotional development ( what does a friend look like? how does a friend make you feel? etc. ) I am looking forward to the fall where he will be immersed in multi-languages: Mandarin Chinese half of the year and Spanish the other half of the year. I would highly recommend SSKS.

We are so fortunate to have found St. Stans school for our children. We have attended 3 years of prek for each of our children and appreciate the care that our children receive during the day. All of the families are warm and welcoming, and have made us a part of the SSKS family. The teachers and staff are wonderful and show great pride in being teachers and making SSKS a happy place full of nurturing and caring. The principal has a huge role in creating an environment where people respect the opinions of others, the school is rich in cultural diversity, and open to all faiths. We as parents strive to teach our kids values that will form them for the future. I am confident that SSKS will be a driving force in their success.
