Came here out of convenience and stayed for way too long. I am so happy to finally have gotten out if this school. Do not make my mistake and think your options are limited or get stuck in routine. How they run things and communicate is ridiculous. People in the office are passive aggressive.

School shows great care and family for kids but lacks some qualified teachers which leads the kids not being prepared for high school. They also discipline the kids for comepletely unreasonable reasons

EDIT: A couple days after I posted this, some cones went up that direct traffic flow and prevents cars from stalling in the bike lane. Much safer for everyone. Thank you.OG POST:Parents, please stop parking/stalling your cars in the bike-lane in front of this school. This puts bikers lives in danger. This morning I was nearly hit by a lady who opened her car door without looking to see that I was passing. There is parking on Palmer, so there is really no excuse for this behavior. I will be following up with the police.

Great school. Very friendly, family oriented. My son has come home almost everyday with new knowledge. I love the Tuesday folders; great method of communication between parents and school. Im always kept updated on what my son is learning in class and the expectations for the coming week. I love the fact that even though my son is in PreK he has technology class (computer class), Spanish, music and gym as separate lessons with other instructors outside of his classrooms regular teachings. I am absolutely impressed.

Our family has been part of St Sylvester School for many years. We love the community, the environment and the staff. The neighborhood has changed but St Sylvester School continues to grow and continue to being a positive impact to our children lives.

Hello, I use to be at this school for 2 years. My Name was Ashley and wow I really loved it there. Everyone nice especially Mrs.Katherine, known as Mrs.K. I really miss her and i hope she is having a great life now. And everyone else there too.

Best School Ever! New principal made this school change to one of the best in the area! all Teachers and staff are awesome. The community itself it beautiful. everyone knows each other and that is a great feeling.

My son started pre-K there this year he absolutely loves it - very experienced and caring teachers, great after school program (soccer weekly, lots of run around time with the other younger kids). He is absolutely excited every morning. Ive found the school size to be small and very attentive - there is a very real love for the kids and community here. Very glad we enrolled (and Ive been around the block with my older kids at St Edwards and St John Berchmans - both lovely schools but St Sylvester has been a great choice for my son).

We have had a great experience so far, great staff and teachers, great communication, and unlike other schools St. Sylvester School offers before/after school care.

This will be my daughters second year here at St. Sylvester and really love the school. It is very Family oriented and very good with communication with their families.
