I really appreciate the staff. I feel that they genuinely are concerned about the students and that they believe in their future. I was having a difficult time trying to get my daughter to continue with her education, Ms. Kelly Kimbrough stepped in to give her encouragement. She pointed out how close she was and how she believe in my daughter and that she trust that she can make it over the finish line. It takes a village to raise a child.... Thanks CYDI for being there. CYDI is full of opportunity! It allows students to really utilize all the things that are being taught. Construction, life skills, business, and electives like fashion and graphic designing!

CYDI is an incredible school. Everyone, from the teams, faculty and even students are very kind and warm. CYDI really focuses on helping you achieve your goals and be the best person you can be. They are also affiliated with various companies to helpprepare you for life after high school. They truly care about their students.

My experience at cydi was overall good. I feel like the programs are definitely a plus and I’m it creates a lot of opportunity’s outside of high school I would strongly recommend to other students to attend and give a charter school a try

I went to 5 different schools before cydiI’ve turned down schools offering transportation to my front door and I wouldn’t go to schoolBut to attend Cydi I had to travel 2hrs on public transportation and I was determined to be up by 5am leave my home by 6am to get there on time by 8amThis school is what A school should be, hands on training to get you really involved and they will push you won’t let you give up on yourself it’s just amazing I highly recommend

I have been to 2 other schools before cydi and I couldn’t make it work at my other schools and I came to cydi I start seeing that I needed a smaller environment and not to much distractions and when I came to cydi it made me see school not bad and I have help if I needed it it made me not gonna give up on school

What a great place to learn and be exposed to things that require responsibility, yet are fun to engage in. The community garden with seasonal veggies and live animals was very cool! Turkeys raised from infancy, chickens, a goat--plus learning how to manage opportunities at differing times (like the crops) was excellent.

I graduated from CYDI last year,from my experience its the best school a child should go to. They are a lot of oppuntinities at this school. I will recommend CYDI to anyone. At first it started off,rocky but a couple months after I referred a lot of people to CYDI.

I went to CYDI and graduated from the school. There are no words to describe how amazing the school is and all the teachers, counsels and faculty really is. Ill never forget the experience and the love and support I received. Mrs. Brown was the absolute BEST counselor in the world, I wished all the students to ever walk the floors of CYDI couldve experienced her love. She was sick and went above and beyond for her students, we were like her babies. I love her so much, no words could explain. The principal was awesome as well. Shell see me walking between classes and pull me to the side and ask if everything was alright. The care they have for the students, is home like. Some of us came from foster homes but at school, that was our home and I love them for it. It brings back so many memories and a feeling of warmth when you see the name of the school and when I ride past. CYDI til I DIE!!! Class of 04
