PSA BEWARE: I would not choose this provider for any services. Select a different for profit school where the students education is priority. The company will milk every penny out of you via government grants and then not communicate after they have been paid. They entice you with false promises such as the ability to switch classes if you dont like what you selected, or the ability to reschedule a course due to life. Its been more than 6 months and I have attempted to reschedule my courses due to outside circumstances and they stopped communicating with me. How absurd. The one PMP course I attended was taught so so haphazardly that the teacher flashes through material so fast you have no chances to digest the content, or even ask questions and when you do ask any questions the answer is glossed over as if we are 20 year veterans working in the industry. It was horrible and everyone in the class was lost.I was unable to reschedule my other classes and they ultimately said oh well not our problem. This was after they got their money too, so please beware.

Newcomers should know MicroTrain operates a very no-nonsense business model. Individuals who enroll with MicroTrain (like myself) are typically unemployed or underemployed jobseekers looking to gain new skills and/or certifications to make a career change. Many of the people who enroll with MicroTrain do so through the federal governments WIOA grant program which provides funding for job/career training. The program is fast-paced and can feel like youre racing to snag credentials, but in my case it was a smart plan of attack (and paid off).MicroTrains staff are helpful and do a good job of working with you to find out where you want to go and what skills/certifications you need to get there. My experience with this training provider was a positive one.

I felt like I was just a number to them. They just wanted to push me through programs as fast as they could and get me out the door. As a veteran it is hard enough transitioning into the workforce without companies like this preying on my hopes and dreams.

MicroTrain stands behind their vision of helping those in transition become trained, certified and gainfully employed. They laid out applying for the WIOA program and relevant classes that fit my career path. MicroTrain provides a great FREE site in developing a career plan, personal branding and job search all-in-one theprofessional.me
