Hi, I am a student there and to be completely honest I love it there. the teachers and the staff they are nice. Im in jazz not sure if im in a intermediate level or not but my teacher she has helped me with my dancing skills. I appreciate them helping us students to get better at dancing. I started in 2019 in the summer but I didnt go during 2020 because of Covid-19. But I started back this summer The teacher in the summer. Kind , helpful, encouraging. Im in the fall session and this is gonna be my first Recital I think. I rate this a 5/5 this is the best dance studio to go to In this city.

This review is solely for the recital I attended in Spring 2019. It was hosted at Mother McAuley High School and we were informed that doors opened at 12:30. We arrived and were one of the first to enter through the doors only to find that nearly every seat in the front half of the auditorium was “reserved” by families allowed to enter beforehand. This despite the fact that the seating was to be on a first-come first-serve basis. As the parent of a nervous 4 year old expecting me to be somewhere near the stage this was very disappointing. I will be contacting Marylee in an effort to put an end to these practices or remove my child from the program as this is unacceptable.

My daughter has been with Dance Gallery just about 8 years. The instructors are great, the director is amazing & she is blossoming into a beautiful dancer. They offer many styles of dance for all ages and levels. Best studio on the Southside of Chicago for sure.

This was our first year with dance gallery. My daughter absolutely loves it and so do I. Watching my daughter engage with other kids, love her teachers and have a huge smile on her face after class is just awesome. Everyone works so hard on the recital, so much hard work goes into this. I am so happy to be a part of this amazing family. Thank you Marylee and staff! Thank you so much for youre kindness and hard work, tonight was amazing 😍 We cant wait for the next show.

Amazing 2019 show!!! Thank you to Marylee and all of the wonderful teachers for their hard work and dedication to our children! Dance Gallery has truly felt like our second home for over a decade and we look forward to many more years of dance classes and shows!

My children have been dancing at the Dance Gallery for 5 and 7 years and I cannot say enough about how much we love it here. Between my two children, we’ve had four different teachers and they’ve all been outstanding. While I love seeing them grow as dancers, it is their growth in confidence that really impresses me. My kids were both the kind of crying toddler that wouldn’t leave my leg, and last night they performed in front of 300 people! The teachers at the Dance Gallery are the real deal, and it really shows when you see the students who’ve been here since they were little. I highly recommend the Dance Gallery to anyone!

Dance Gallery did it again! Fantastic show thank you to all the teachers hard work and dedication. You impact my child’s life in such a positive way.

My 4 daughters have been attending Dance Gallery Chicago for 7 years and have been involved in multiple shows. They have all been of the highest quality. I applaud Marylee and all the instructors for another excellent job. I look forward to the next performance in 2021!

We love Dance Gallery and all of the instructors there so much. They are thoughtful, compassionate and incredibly talented. They have taught my daughters so much and are continuously challenging them to be and do their best on a daily basis. This studio is truly a gem in our neighborhood and the city of Chicago.

We just completed our 4th recital with Dance Gallery. The studio always works so hard to put on an amazing performance and today’s show was just that, amazing!!!! We have the best teachers with the best classes. I’m so grateful for this studio, Ms. Marylee and her wonderful staff.

Dance Gallery Chicago put on a wonderful recital performance yesterday from the Dancers, costumes and the teachers. And I will like to thanks everyone that make it possible.

Attended the shows today at McAuley and the performances were amazing!!! I arrived early (per ticket info) to grab seating for my family. It’s nice to see the vision of these wonderful teachers showcased thru their talented dancers!!! This studio is a gem on the south side!

If I could give it 0 stars I would, The lady was really rude when I called in regards to renting out the studio for a class instead of her response of just saying we actually do not rent out for the other classes..she proceeded into competing saying that I need to find my own studio. Will never call or take a class there!

Excellent dance school, Ms.Mary and her team are very knowledgeable, kind and encouraging. She loves children and she is very family oriented! Prices are reasonable as well.
