LBP is a small dance community with a heart of gold. It is comprised of passionate dancers, parents, & volunteers that have successfully fostered an inclusive & positive space where students from all over Chicago come to learn, grow, and succeed. I am proud to have danced here for over 15 years. Additionally, it served as an excellent launch-pad into my college dance career. Forever grateful for this place.

LBP is a wonderful studio, offering so much! My daughter loves it here. Appreciate the variety of genres for study, and the opportunity for kids of all ages to perform in high-quality ballets and an all-studio recital each year. Talented and dedicated teachers and staff, and a really lovely community of families. Its a great place to dance.

LBP School of Dance is a true gift to the neighborhood. It offers classes for all ages and ability. They offer a competition team, annual Nutcracker, Spring ballet and end of year recital. Community based and talented teachers. Reasonable class costs.Highly recommend.

My kids have danced here for years; it has become their second home. In our search for a studio, no other studio offered the combination of quality classes in many genres (including pointe), stage productions/recitals, and a competitive dance team. Their non-profit status makes them one of the most cost effective dance studios in Chicago.

LBP is an absolute neighborhood gem! The school and staff are fantastic, and it is a wonderful community of dancers to be a part of. My daughter has been dancing here for 5 years and couldnt be happier!

I take dance there myself and I find that classes are a lot of fun. We are there everyday for dance. Longer some days, shorter for others. The teachers do push you, (despite what anyone else says), and encourage you too. I do wish that the classes were longer for more practice time, but they have so many classes offered, you just cant. Though that can be bad, it is also good. That means that you can go to a class that fits your schedule.

Took ballet there almost 30 years ago, and when I didnt care to stay for my second class that day, I walked out of the dance room and downstairs to change, then came back up and since I didnt know how to make a collect call, I decided to walk to my grandmothers house about 6 blocks away. However, I wasnt allowed to cross the train tracks alone, so I recruited a friendly looking stranger to escort me across the tracks before being on my way. They allowed a 6 year old to not only walk out of class without knowing where she planned to go, but allowed her to walk out alone with a stranger. When I finally did make it to my grandmothers house, she wasnt home, but the neighbors who knew me were luckily playing in the yard next door. The mother discovered I was there after some time and then called my parents, who came to pick me up. I definitely got into my share of trouble, but my mother reamed the owner of Le Petit, as it was called at the time. I remember enjoying the classes, and I wish I could have continued, but after they just let me walk out, my mother wouldnt let me go back.

Went here 22 years ago I wish I would of continued dancing. I can still smell the rubber from the dance room 🥰❤️
