Cant say I hated Alfred Nobel. I was a student there around 1963-64. One of 4 other Afro-american. The academics were excellent. My group transferred to the school from another chicago board of ed school where learning was by chance
Ive had a twin nephew and niece that graduated from Nobel the 18th of June and I had an excellent time
Went here from 6-8 grade. loved all my teachers. class of 2014
This school is horrible. I say this because I was a former student and from what I got to see the school ISNT sanitary. The 2nd floor girls bathroom smells like rotten fish. The water fountains are not safe to drink from. And let me get you started on the food. The food there is disgusting. I would starve myself because every time I ate it I would feel like if I had to vomit. The principal. Oohhhh how much I hated the principle. He let go of one of my teachers and said and I quote this Life goes on. Nobel should NOT be a level 1 school. The teacher there are great dont get me wrong but it everyone else. My sister told me that the assistant principal screamed at a girl because she stated that she was in pain. That is horrible. I only gave it 2 stars because of the teachers. This school is ghetto. Ive seen people get into fights and have NOT been disciplined. The students get to call the teachers whatever they like to. If you talk to any of the 8th grade class right now they can tell you how bad that school is. Matter of fact any grade. I hope this gives you a second thought on coming to this school.
I am thinking of joining this school because of all the good reviews
Went to school here from 1961-1965. I have many fine memories.
Dont we love our gradeschools...Does anyone remember Lisa Foreman?
Good and they have the best playground
Because I went here in 2003 to 2004
