As a former student who had attended this school, I would like to say that it has been a wonderful experience for the past 8-9 years I have been here. The teachers and staff have done an excellent job at helping their students succeed, as well as Ms. Fernandez who had helped me through the high school enrollment process. Dont let those negative reviews discourage you from enrolling your kids here. I can assure you that you and your child will have a wonderful experience here.

I was considering enrolling my 2nd grader to this school. And I did my research, I asked parents that have their kids in this school and I found out that this school uses Outing students and putting them to count bricks as a method to address altercation between scholars. Instead of addressing them directly with with parents. Of all parties included in situations specially when it escalates from verbal to physical abuse. I also had a chance to personally read some of the emails sent to parents and how the principal approaches and replies, very condescending with no consideration to the needs of the child and parents. Having read and heard opinions from the parents. I will definitely not be enrolling my daughter to this school. It’s 2018 not 1900’s any use of racial name calling should be considered a threat. And should be treated with as such. Let’s educate our young scholars to respect our differences and it should start at home and then enforced in school. Shame on on you Brighton Park and staff.

I am a old graduate of 2012 yet I can say all the years I have attended here were an experience. Unfortunately when I graduated here as a 8th grader they changed the principal that had been there since I was in PRE-K!!! When I left in 2012 I heard from alot of students that the new principal changed alot of the school which was true when I came back to vist 2 years later. From what I saw they painted the walls and added a music class which I thought was awesome since I DID NOT have that there when I was attending. I dont know how it is NOW since alot of the young people I know graduated in 2014.

This school is okay but they should more clubs for example a martial arts club. In my opinion
