ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ,THE CARE AND LOVE FOR THE CHILDREN THIS SCHOOL GIVES SHOWS THEY STRIVE TO HELP OUR CHILDREN ACHIEVE GREATNESS!!! My daughter went here from Grades K- 8 and is in honors classes at a great high-school. My son is also there and still no complaints. Teachers and staff that care are always important. This is what you find here.

When I think of a word to describe this school amazing always comes to mind. I attended the school long enough to see that it is not perfect but when I take the time to weigh the pros and cons I can confidently say that the school is a great place for a child to start their educational career and find out for themselves how they learn best.To start, the teachers are phenomenal. Everyone is so devoted to helping their students grow both intellectual and as valuable members of society. The Literature teachers teach students about how to interpret modern and classical writing, then to apply these skills as students form their own points of views on what they read. The Language Arts teachers make sure that each individuals voice can be expressed coherently and strongly in their work. Science teachers teach more than just the scientific method but what it means to be a scientist and how to use what we know to form new ideas and thoughts. The math teachers work with each student to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses and help them understand what is being taught. And Social Studies teachers apply historical dilemmas to current issues, teaching students how we can learn from the pastThe diversity at this school is also incredible. There is such a strong community established at this school because you have people from all different kinds of backgrounds and cultures who are working together, learning together, sharing ideas. Students learn about different traditions and nations from eachother, and everyone has a fascinating story they can tell. They leave the school with open minds and a little bit of knowledge about every part of the world.Id honestly recommend this school to anyone whos looking for a place that offers great education, a diverse environment, and a strong social community. 😊🇨🇳🇩🇪🇪🇸🇫🇷🇬🇧🇮🇹🇯🇵🇰🇷🇷🇺🇺🇸😀

Well, its pretty good Rough around the edges.Their bathroom stall doors are Jammed. The old building is deteriorating fast, last I checked there was a crack the size of a skateboard over there. Their water fountains are connected, when another person wants a drink, enjoy their spit, with a little bit of lead, as most schools havent changed the ever so deteriorating lead pipes. They have a really nice curriculum there. One of the things I liked over there was that there was a range of ethnicities and cultural backgrounds. A WIDE auditorium, but their wooden chairs are starting to crack, some taken off, but most still intact, I liked that they were very kind and helpful most of the time. most Implying that the school has lost their ever so dear touch of happiness. Now it is a place where the only thing good about it is the Technology, 2014 up Chromebooks. Which we all know are slow and laggy.Jeez, CPS/Governor/Mayor, Do you ever think that A school is where kids get Impressions on how the world works? Thanks for teaching us Capitalism and being stubborn...

Oh, Mr. Cyclops is me? I have two eyes, and I never got a bad grade. As, Bs, and maybe a C in fifth grade, but the reason Im mad, is that theyre not promising what they give us. They teach us the same thing over and over again. Teachers who were nice now became strict. I got out of this school at 7th grade to go to another one. There, I went to a great high school and Im a senior right now.
