Hello!! Im a student at Lasalle 2, and I would just like to say how wonderful of a school it is!! I have been attending this school for 6 years now. I have met so many amazing kids, who I hope to see in the future. I would just like to say how diverse this school is. I 110% recommend you sending your child to this wonderful school, that Im glad to call my home. These kids are like family to me!

The staff is very respectful and responsible. The extracurricular is taken seriously and LaSalle II takes pride in what it is. Fun school events are held occasionally and overall this school is very remarkable. Ive proudly attended this school for 8 years, so I think my judgement should be fair.

Lasalle 2 is a great school. Our teachers are outstanding. The administration is doing a great job of leading improvements in the school. Parents are very involved in supporting instruction at home, fostering the school community, and raising money.

My daughter has been in school here since Kindergarten and is now in the 4th Grade. Her brother now also attends and is in 2nd Grade. I could not be happier with the school, curriculum, teachers and parent involvement. My daughter will be fluent in Mandarin and son fluent in French when they graduate. Not to mention that this language academy focuses not only on other languages but other cultures as well. A broad and inclusive education which is precisely what I want for my kids and think will give them the best advantage in this global economy/workforce they will eventually be joining. The school counselor has taken a very active role as a sounding board and getting to know the kids in small groups so she is aware and ready to assist with social transitions and challenges the kids face--and they are comfortable talking with her. The parent involvement is stellar and reflects in the well funded PTO that sponsors thoughtful and very successful programs and events for parents and students throughout the year. We are very grateful to be part of this community, I think it represents the best of the overall Chicago community that I love so dearly.

My son attends here. He is in pre-k with Ms. Liss, and I am beyond ecstatic with the staff, teachers, and curriculum. I work at a well respected & reputable graduate, and doctoral, school in downtown Chicago, and I am amazed this is not a private school, but CPS run.

There are great teachers at this school but they are few and far between. By 4th grade, my daughter was made to sit in front of a Chromebook all day due to the fact that the teacher was so disengaged. She allowed for rampant bullying in her classroom. The principal, I believe, having her hands tied with the CPS tenure issue, opted to do nothing to hold this teacher accountable. Our daughter is gender non-conforming and they knowingly let her be bullied to the point where we had to look for a new school. Dont let the test scores fool you. Memorizing facts online is not true learning. There is a truly disturbing lack of a moral compass at Lasalle II and I would not recommend the school to anyone.

I love it here, my mom is a teacher here, I have definitely have learned many useful life from this school.

LaSalle 2 is a great school challenging but if u work hard enough u r destined to succeed

WORST SCHOOL STARTING WITH THE APPLICATION PROCESS LOTTERY B.S.. AND TEACHERS ARE THE WORST. EVERY DAY THEY LOOKED MISERABL WHY THEY EVER CLOSED ANDERSEN FOR THAT DUMB SCHOOL. OH AND THE PRINCIPAL DONT EVEN BOTHER TELLING HER HELLO UNLESS SHE KNOWS YOU SHE WILL REPLY. RUDE AS HELL .
