This is an amazing school with amazing staff!! They really do try to give the best education to your child. My son studied there for 2 years, JK and K, those were really awesome years, and I really do see progress in him compared to his peers.Today was our last day in this school, and I want to thank all of the staff, especially his class teachers Ms Mudd, Ms Miller, Ms Artinian, art teacher Ms Gottesman, SEL teacher Mr P. And of course management of GEMS - the head of the school Mr Tom Cangiano, the head of security Mr King and the incredible admissions director Adriana Mourgelas! Thank you all for everything!!)))

I love this school it is like a family away from home the teachers always check in on how you are doing and more. I go to this school and I love it here and I am privileged to go here many people cant but I wish they could.

School used to be good but lack of in person learning while most of private schools were doing so will not be choice for my child next year. They are adding extra weeks of online learning after every break, even in April. Ridiculous.

This the best school! Weve had a great experience at this school for almost 3 years now. Couldnt ask for better teachers. They are dedicated, passionate about their subjects, creative and give the kids much needed personal attention in small classroom settings. The Middle school here is truly a great place and the kids are learning at the highest level while creating friendships along the way. The students here are smart, kind and caring. Our son is very happy here and achieves all the educational goals we set with him.We couldnt be happier here. He previously attended both a highly rated CPS school as well as a parochial school and they do not compare to this experience. We feel fortunate that we found it and that he can go through Middle and High school years here.

My daughter is at her very best in education, leaning and comfort. I have never seen my child this happy and inspired to learn and study. She calls Gems her little community:) Im extremely impressed with her growth in just 4 months! The transfer was worth it and Im a happy parent! Finally we found a place where she can be her best self!

Look below the surface, past the impressive lobby and outside of the building. There are many warning signs at Gems, such as the level of turnover at the highest level all the way down to the staff. The school opened in 2014 but is now on the fourth Head of School. Theres also a lot of turnover with teachers and staff. Even the security team was dismantled, and they hired an outside company. NWEA scores have fallen while attending this school and there is no sense of camaraderie or community.

One of the best parental decisions I made in deciding to send our children to GEMS for their educational training. The school delivers as billed in almost every aspect of its design.

A nice recent addition to the Lakeshore East neighborhood. This place has brought some life and vitality to the neighborhood with its quirky architecture and progressive educational philosophy. Interior spaces are functional and fun, providing a welcoming environment. The general public can get a peek inside during Open House Chicago.

My child has attended GEMS World Academy - The Early Years for four years. The school and staff have surpassed my expectations offering an engaging curriculum, outstanding teachers and state-of-the-art facilities. My child is excited and happy to go to school every day and I am grateful to GEMS for the nurturing, supportive and engaging learning environment where my child continues to thrive. We are proud to be part of the GEMS Chicago community.

Good class for beginners. A little slow paced for those that aren’t tech savvy

Not recommended. Very disorganized and very little communication with the parents. Plus, they tell you supplies are included and then give you a bunch of crappy little .50 paper folders and some binders so everything is falling all over the place and the kids keep losing stuff. Not a good way to help kids succeed.
