Amazing staff and counselors! They helped me get a full ride to a private university on the east coast! Literally changed my life by becoming a student here four years ago. The leadership skills you gain from JROTC are valuable in and outside of the classroom. My high school experience here was safe and productive. The staff and teachers here really go out of their way to make sure students get the best quality of education. This school is not a military school for students who are disruptive. They dont simply kick kids out because they arent doing well grade-wise. They will try and work with your child. Phoenix gives back what you put into it.

Had 2 Daughters graduate from Phoenix, had two other family members graduate also. School is on top of there game, they strive for excellence. Phoenix is a gem in this rough city, wish more schools made the effort that is made at Phoenix. My youngest will attend Phoenix in September!!!

This is the high school I will be attending in the fall, and its absolutely amazing. The orientation was great and the staff is amazing, also according to the students the teachers care and they push you to do great. I cant wait to come here.

Class of 2005. Original Phoenix Firebird. We started this school. Went through many changes and transitions. Loved my teachers and everything about PMA back then. It has evolved, but Im sure its still a great school. I am now a teacher myself. Many of us did great things. Thanks to our wonderful teachers!!!

I am a freshman here at Phoenix, this is a really excellent place staff is very nice and make sure you do more than your best. They want to see you strive towards success and help you become a better citizen. JROTC is the best. Definitelly beats Lane Tech, Kelly, Curie, and other schools. If you want to strive towards success and more this is the place to attend and be at. They make you feel part of something bigger tuan yourself. Provide AP and honors classes. Teach you a lot of discipline (obviously).

I remember when this school was Grant Elem, but it has changed into a good military school.

Great school, I went to their open house and their students and staff have great discipline and they respected you, and if you have a question they would have an answer for you right away

New Major is too strict on my children and thinks shes still in the army. She is very rude and disrespectful and even talked to me, a parent, in a harsh tone when trying to ask simple questions. Do not reccomend this school to anyone anymore. Old Cornel did a better job than her. She needs to be fired.

A super school my daughter is attending her 3 year there and they give them extraordinary experiences, of course for the student who wants to go out and be someone of benefit like everything there is everything but not by a few we judge all pk actually in all schools There are good and bad students and for me the one that my daughter has already decided to enter there was the mostright .. for next year my other son will go there
