I was doing a high school presentation on simeon Career Academy

I love Simeon school so much i just feel sad for it because its falling down every since Dr. house left.. but lucky we have great teachers who stay and keep their heads up and continue to try and do their job the best they can...

I am a parent of a son who just had a Interview at Simeon,My older children attended Simeon and i love the school and i am very upset that the media and the post on Facebook,Is saying all the students at Simeon,Went into Walmart and destroyed the Store,And if this is true parents should be Told,Its enough going on in this World...I have faith in the seeds of our Ancestors,Prove those Wrong.. Because its some dont want my people to Succeed,Again young people prove them WRONG..

Ok so a teacher Mr. Dunbar calls me a parent from my daughters phone to inquire if there is something wrong at home because my daughter has been withdrawn from his class. I advised him no, and I then asked what the problem is.Mr. Dunbar is very rude and unprofessional. He made the call to me while Im at work, and refused to come back to the line to rectify the situation. He tells my daughter to stand outside his classroom , but I had more questions while at work on the phone, Mr. Dunbar so rudely says tell her I call her later, and tells my daughter to hang up the phone. but my daughter is still standing in the hallway and this problem has not been rectified. So now my daughter is looking like a problem child, when the teacher Mr. Dunbar is not communicating properly or professionally to a parent.I have a problem with teacher being rude and disrespectful, judge mental toward parents.. Im not happy or pleased with the conversation today I had with Mr. Dunbar today he left me and my daughter hanging without an resolution.

Sooooo do the metal detectors work at all??!! My daughter cheered at a game there today and as a fight was about to break out guns were about to be drawn!😡 security handled it but PLEASE get the metal detectors fixed before someone gets shot!!😔 smh

Shame on everyone of those children who walked into Walmart and rioted.Cameras can identify and by law should be held accountable!! WAY TOO MANY MENTALLY CHALLENGED HUMANS SLIP BY THE SYSTEM AND GO UNDIAGNOSED.VERY REAL AND SCARY!! WORSE PEOPLE ARE THE ONES WHO DONT CARE WHO HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE

I hate it here. Not creative enough for one we only have one art teacher. The principal isnt very good at his job. I do say that some of the teachers do try to help,but its few. They also pimp they Athletic students out. Its a school that is glorified for two people that dont do anything for the school.

I went to an interview there. Great ciriculum, dicipline,and leadership.

A school that loves failing students and doesnt see the problem 🙌🏾😞

Wow, a kid who stayed in class was suspended but the rest, who were unleashed on the public, unsupervised, trash a walmart store. Video doesnt lie. You must be proud. Very Proud!
