They are renovating the school. Hopefully students and staff will be able to enjoy eventually once we get control of Covid-19.

Theres so much I can say about this school and some of the teachers thats in it i will say this if u have a chance to have your child in a better school. DO IT!!

That school was hell for me it was terrible. In 2014, I was in...2nd grade and my brother was in kindergarten what happen was the janitor he was light skin look like he was pick of the streets he slammed my brother toward the lunch wall.

Horrible! No one seems to know much of anything at this school. Meetings may be canceled and no one knows. Meetings may be there and still no one knows! Things were going well for a while but this year they went back down! Way down! Staff does as little as possible to assist w doing their job! They take things away from students last minute & when you question them, no one knows why? If you call downtown on them, be prepared for a fight. They dont like that. Do your job or find another profession! I fights for Mines! So if your child goes here or is about to attend, be prepared & dont give up! Learn your childs rights and yours. Dont let them try to intimidate you. They will!

When I was informed that my son would be attending this school, I started doing my research on this school. And I was not happy with anything that I read. But I decided that I would try and give the school a chance. Because everybody as an different experience. But I unfortunately didnt have an good experience either, I wonder around the school and went into 2 different building before someone came and walked to me to the mail office. I waiting in the main office for about 20 minutes before that told me that the person that I needed to speak with was not there. (Ms. Galmore) And the staff in the main office are terrible, I feel that they are what makes the school bad, they are the first once that you come in contact with. I then ended up going up there a total of 3 times before I was able to get my baby enrolled. But that not even the kicker. The 3rd time I was in the main office, when I first set down i was told that Ms. Galmore would be out to see me any minute. I waited for 20 minutes when they came and told me that she wasnt there and that she had an meeting. I left out the building after expressing who upset I was, when I got outside I was furious and I was talking loud enough to be heard. The same lady, who told me that Ms. Galmore wasnt there, came outside and stated that Ms. Galmore was in fact in the office and that she could now see me. It took all about 15 minutes for her to help me get my child enrolled and I was on my way. After that encounter I started looking for another school, that my child can attend. And we are currently waiting on a spot to open up for him. And as soon as they do I will be removing my child from this school. The only time they want to help you is when you come out of character. I have yet to meet and or talk to the principle, even after I have asked to speak with him on numerous occasions . I do NOT recommend this school for anybody child. I truly hope that this response helps someone. Our children deserves a fair chance at a good education.

This school is funny and annoying but some of the kids at that school be starting stuff with other kids so dont take your kids to this school.

The principal is a great leader & the teachers are very good with the kids! That is why the kids are so so deseplin & smart for their age @ (CPS) Coles Elementary Language Academy!

This is my school and I love it ,its level 1.I have been going there since pre-k . its the only school that has a lot of scholars .Im one of them so .

I sincerely miss my old school... Im going back for my community service hours for my highschool credit.

This school is the worst dont put your kids in this school they will get into fight everyday

This school is terrible there have roaches,mice, and rats running around the school.There lunch is terrible it taste stale and the teachers touch on kids.
