Great teachers and supportive learning atmosphere. There are always extra things/opportunities you can do beyond the classwork, if you wish. I have taken traditional classes and blended learning. For me, the blended learning is the right mix. It has the advantage of recording your self speak, then playing it back to hear yourself. Then if you wish to try again, you can re-record.

Incredible, authentic German good - I cant speak highly enough about this restaurant. The food is well prepared, flavorful and true to how the dishes are made back in Germany. The staff and owners are fantastic - I cant wait to go back again.

I just finished a course here for beginners German (A1.3). The teacher was great and getting you to interact and you are provided with a lot of support if needed and materials. Hoping to go back for another in the Winter semester!

Im taking German classes here, and I love it. The teachers are very nice, and the secretary is always warm and welcoming. Its also in a great location being a block away from Randolph and Wabash.

The best place to learn German in Chicago. Of course if you have time and money, go to Germany 😂😂😂You can also try in Austria or in Switzerland!!!

I am currently taking my second German course. I started at the very beginning with A1.1 and am now in A1.2. The teachers are excellent and we have good materials and resources. I have learned a lot. In addition, the Institut has interesting cultural programs and activities that are fun to attend. I am enjoying the Goethe-Institut Chicago and am glad to be taking classes there!
