Recently moved in to the city and choosing a new gym was going to be difficult, or so I thought. The staff goes above and beyond to make this a real Jiu-jitsu club. Efforts to renew and upgrade their facilities are clear all the time: from new mats to air purifiers, professional grade lifting equipment to even an awesome arcade machine for people to hang around before or after class.Seminars by legends like Royce Gracie to even guest coaches for multiple classes to the likes of Clark Gracie and Cole Miller have been some of my favorite moments since I started training and goes to show how connected and respected our main black belt, Adem Redzovic, is in the bjj community. On top of that (and probably more important) all coaches are amazing instructors and even better people. This is clearly reflected into all training partners which show an amazing level of respect, competition and camaraderie. A wide range of color belts and levels attend every class with schedule options from early in the morning, lunch time, evening and even weekends (classes and open mats on both Saturday and Sunday).Im truly grateful to have found this great place.

Our college student signed up for 3 months of classes with them. He ended up leaving the city due to COVID and they will not do a refund. 🤷🏻‍♀️ He has no plans going back and we are out of luck, But whatever. Just something to think about before you sign up.To your response. You took advantage of a 18 old kid. To his understanding there was no other options. 👍🏻 Nice. Not a bank? ok. but what goes around comes around.

During a business trip I was able to drop in to a class at the Loop location. Great experience. I was welcomed by everyone like a friend. Clean facility and well designed. Mat space easily accommodated the large class size. The lesson was broken down in to easy to learn segments and the instructor worked hard to help every student and answer every question. Top notch academy. I hope to return some day.

Team Redzovic has been home since 2009, it’s an incredibly diverse academy with people from all walks of life, ethnic backgrounds and skill levels. We have students, business professionals and world class competitors sharing the mats, in addition to world class instruction, world class facilities and accommodations making the academy a very special place for all to train and to build strong relationships with a sense of team and family. The academy leadership and management have created a wonderful culture of inclusion, without the politics of many academies. It’s a place where the best knowledge in the jiujitsu community is welcomed and shared with Professors, Instructors and Competitors from outside of Team Redzovic regularly hosting workshops and seminars – most importantly all are welcomed. If you’ve ever wanted to start your jiujitsu journey, or are just curious and would like to see what it’s all about I highly recommend signing up for an intro class or stopping by to train with the team. You’ll be greeted by a welcoming and accommodating team with an incredible culture.

I have trained at several different places across the US and this gym is by far one of my favorites. From the first day, I felt welcomed and motivated to work harder and push myself. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable, and do a great job of keeping the classes entertaining, educational and provide a great workout. My fellow students are always willing to help out with a new technique or offer advice on how to improve your form. It doesnt matter how experienced you are, these guys become family and will push you to become a better martial artist.I highly recommend this gym to beginners and those with more experience. I will continue to train with them every time I am in the Chicagoland area.

Training here is fantastic. The instructors are really, really good; theyre down to earth, easy to talk to and learn from, and are genuinely invested in the students success. The class format is geared to maximize learning time with instruction and drilling for 45 minutes, followed by Randori for those who want to spar. 7am classes are perfect for starting the day and they also have lunch and evening classes. The facilities are very well maintained. The instructors and students here cultivate a positive environment where humility goes hand in hand with the pursuit of growth and improvement. If you are looking for a jiu-jitsu home in Chicago, you cant go wrong here.

As an airline pilot I travel extensively and try to train as much as possible while on the road. I visited the Redzovic facility because it was located right around the corner from my hotel and I was familiar with professor Redzovic through his videos.I attended a bjj 101 class and it was excellent. The instructor was fantastic and the students were very helpful as well. Very welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely visit again and highly recommend Redzovic bjj to practitioners of all levels.

I have done a few martial arts programs and occupational based combatives, but I am new to the art of jiujitsu. Redzovic Jui-Jitsu has been an excellent place to learn. There are no “tough-guy” attitudes and the instructors are professional and excellent teachers. The facility is clean and the environment is very welcoming. If you are looking for a solid place to train, I highly recommend dropping in to Redzovic Jui-Jitsu and giving it a try.

If youre looking for a grimy basement to punch cinderblocks and become a killing machine this is not the place. If youre looking to learn some solid BJJ with a great team and get a great workout come here!I have not trained at this location since they moved to the second floor, however I have nothing but good things to say about the instruction and the team here from my experience.Ive been to several BJJ schools and have not found one that focuses the TEAM aspect as much as Redzovic. Incredible world famous (in BJJ) guest instructors, great regular instructors, clean facilities, great experience overall. If I could change anything I would add more classes in Lincoln Park - BUT they have different class schedules at their other two locations so pretty much whenever you want theres a class available.Good relationships with other gyms and affiliations so you can pop into some other gyms in the Chicago area for free.Theyve just launched online learning videos which I havent used yet but its a nice feature to have.
