Our 9 year old daughter has taken piano lessons for 5 years, and our toddler son has taken Kindermusik classes since he was just a few days old! We love that Bucktown Music is family owned and that they genuinely care about creating a fun, stress- free, and safe environment to foster a love of music for their students young and old.Every Kindermusik teacher we have worked with has been extremely knowledgeable about early childhood development- their classes are not just sing alongs; every class provides an opportunity for both the caregiver and student to learn new skills. Highly recommend as a great bonding experience for parents and grandparents!Bucktown Music’s one-on-one instrumental lessons are unmatched. I’m consistently blown away by the level of talent, confidence, and pride the students display at their seasonal recitals. My daughter has always been challenged, but never overwhelmed. Her piano teacher tailors her lessons to the music my daughter loves most (musical theatre) and lets her choose which songs to perform at recitals. I’ve even seen students write and perform original music! I think having that ownership makes weekly rehearsals something special to look forward to.In all, Bucktown Music is a gem, and I’m so glad we’ve been members these last 5 years!

Ive been taking adult piano lessons with Jessica at Bucktown Music since October. I have thoroughly enjoyed every lesson and have been surprised at the amount of songs and concepts I have learned. (Despite little time to practice at home) Im an adult student with no musical experience. If you have an interest in music but think it will be too difficult to learn as an adult, I would encourage you to try it. Classes are weekly for 30 minutes. This is the perfect amount of time for my busy schedule. I live nearby, so I try to walk, but parking is very easy. Jessica is always very encouraging, and she gives great instruction, guidance on things to work on at home, and she reinforces songs and concepts but also teaches me something new each lesson. The staff is very helpful, and they gave me a lot of good advice when I decided to purchase a key board for home. (Thanks John) The cost is very reasonable, and the instruction is private. I think it is a tremendous value.

My daughter is 2.5 and we have attended Bucktown Music for over a year. After trying other music and play-based educational classes for our daughter, I can say without doubt that Bucktown Music is one of the strongest, most engaging and entertaining classes available in the city. Our daughter loves the games, songs and dances she learns in class, and I love how she is having fun while learning across developmental focuses - fine motor, speech and gross motor. The culture is warm and welcoming, plus I love knowing that Bucktown Music is family owned and operated. At $99/month, our daughter attends unlimited classes, and we often go twice a week. I highly recommend trying it!

We have been coming for Kindermusic classes since our little ones were infants. The classes and teachers are wonderful, the curriculum designed to foster motor skills and music appreciation. We did try other programs nearer our house a couple times but always came back - the quality was far superior. Our oldest has moved on to piano lessons and is loving it. They are always helpful in accommodating schedule changes and makeup classes. Thank you, Bucktown Music!

Bucktown Music has been amazing for our boys, now ages 4 and 19 months. We have been a Bucktown Music family since our oldest was two months old. His appreciation for rhythm and ability to notice similarities between two seemingly unrelated songs is tremendous. We attribute this ability, and his general love of music, to our fun times at Bucktown Music! It is a family owned and operated company, which makes it all the more welcoming, and understanding of our familys fluctuating schedules and illnesses. Highly recommend it for tiny babies up to four year olds and beyond.

Our son has been taking private piano lessons at Bucktown Music for quite a while now, and we love it. He has had three different teachers over the years, and each one has helped him grow and progress as a musician. Im always amazed at how much he has accomplished with their instruction and guidance. My toddler loves taking music classes here! The teachers are the best and the kindermusic program is amazing for toddlers and babies! Ive watched my toddler develop a love for music and ability to play instruments. Shes learned sign language and words associated with the classes and she can keep a steady beat. She loves having music class a part of her schedule - she gets excited to go to bed because she knows after she wakes up she gets to go to class.

It was so fun, my child LOVED it! Staff was so friendly and it was really clean. Cant wait to go back each week!

We have been clients of Bucktown Music since my now 5-year-old was under a year old.She has enjoyed Kindermusik so thoroughly that, even as she is aging out of the program, she refuses to give it up. Shes also started playing drums at Bucktown so were there twice a week. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

This music lesson studio provides great music education with friendly, knowledgeable, and personable teachers. Their passion for teaching anyone from birth to adults of all ages is unmatchable.

Our son has been going to Bucktown Music 1-2x a week since he was 6 months old (hes almost 2) and we cannot say enough great things about the Kindermusik program and, more specifically, the Bucktown Music staff!!! Jessica has been our primary teacher and shes just fabulous - shes very engaging with the kids, gently encourages the parents to get involved and our son just loves her. The staff is friendly and very accommodating, especially with baby/toddler scheduling.When youre sitting at a restaurant and notice your kid is tapping the beat of the music on his lap (and you hadnt even noticed there was music playing in the background).....you know Kindermusik is working!
