I had been out of practice as a drummer for several years and went to Jamie for help getting back into playing shape. He assessed where I was technically and was able to jump in and tailor our work right where I needed it. He also really wants you to own your own instruction and is willing to take things wherever you want to take them, not just prescribing down some pre-wrapped set of lessons. I am definitely a better drummer and musician because I found these guys.

I took drum lessons for a number of months with Jamie, and as an absolute beginner, I feel like I learned a thousand times more with him than either teaching myself, or by learning with another drum teacher. Jamie does an excellent job of explaining and demonstrating both beginner and advanced techniques, and as someone who has taken lessons for many different instruments, I can strongly recommend Jamie as someone who will help you learn drums efficiently, and at the pace you want.-Alex N
