Outstanding staff make this a wonderful environment for the kids to learn, play and socialize. We have certainly enjoyed watching our kids develop and grow. Highly recommended.

Its difficult to articulate the appreciation we have for this Center as its overwhelming positive! Our daughter attended from the age of 4 months through 2 years old and enjoyed every day. Theres a strong family culture and the sense of care is apparent. The children truly love their teachers, which is easy to identify by their smiling faces each time they arrive each morning. I couldnt promote this Center more and I wish each employee, student and family the best life has to offer. Were moving out of state which is the ONLY reason our daughter will no longer be attending. All the best and special thanks to Bardha. You perform your job at an exceptional level.

School does not abide by basic COVID-19 guidelines. The children do not wear masks and the teacher was not wearing her mask correctly.

If you are new parents or parents just looking for daycare, IPELC is the place for you! I am very picky as to who looks over my children and although this location was close to where we were living, I didnt give them much thought, MISTAKE on my part! This group of educators give you the piece of mind you need so that you can focus on your occupation. Not only do they welcome you in with open arms, but they give you a tour of the facility on the spot! Bardha has been operating the two facilities for 20 years, and encourages all parents to interact with their children and each other. Parties are held for most holidays and its great to see the other parents who are at the facility. She posts the degrees of each teacher at the center so that you feel more confident that each educator has been schooled for the position. The teachers send you daily recaps and pics of your childs activities. She sends lunch menus for the month, she calls if your child shows any signs of sickness, she knows every childs name and will even participate in the occasional sing-a-long. Your child is in safe hands, I GUARANTEE IT!

My daughters social skills are muchImproved. I like that they work on art projects, go to the playground 2x a day, and give a 2.5 hour nap/ rest time a day. My daughter not a big fan of the lunches and you cannot bring your own but she likes breakfast and snacks.

The Irving Park Learning Center has been a wonderful organization for my daughter Leah. Coming from a home daycare, she entered the school at three years old and quickly fell into the daily routine with thestudents thanks to the guidance of her teachers. Over a short period of time, we found her speech improving and an excitement for learning using songs and activities blossoming. Now five years old, she still comes home and shares her new knowledge with us. From the days of the week, how far she can count, animals that live in the jungle, to fun facts about the planets (that I has to look us and see if she was right), practicing her writing skills and so much more.

IPELC is the best choice for your childs preschool/daycare. The staff are all loving, caring and have their best interest in your child. They have a playground attached to the school that is age appropriate for every child and wonderful healthy meals provided by the school. Best of all is the safety of the building. You cant get in the facility unless you have a code to get in. I absolutely reccomend IPELC to any parent, family and child.

After touring many daycares locally and in the suburbs near my office, we selected Irving Park Early Learning Center for our daughter. IPELC was the only daycare that truly felt like home for our daughter. The staff are friendly, warm, loving and foster creativity and growth. I continue to be amazed as our oldest daughter moves from the infant room to toddler to two’s at the learning environment each teacher provides. She has loved each classroom equally and looks forward to school every day! It’s reassuring to know she loves all her teachers, is so well cared for and is learning so much (she’s singing songs in English, Spanish, Albanian and Greek!)! We love the daily photos and progress reports - it’s very easy to communicate with the teachers and check in on your little ones! We’ve now enrolled our 12 week old in IPELC too. We cannot thank the staff here enough for taking such wonderful care of our girls and creating a loving home away from home where they can both learn, grow and play.

My daughter has been coming here for the past year and a half. I have always had a good experience with her teachers, who are always very friendly and discuss with me the various activities they did during the day, and milestones met. Perhaps the best endorsement I can give, however, is that I can tell that my daughter enjoys being there with her fellow classmates and teachers; which tells me that she comfortable there and being well cared for.

Genuinely caring about the children, flexible with schedule, and reliable. We have been extremely pleased thus far with our experience here. Our son is in the infant room. We are so grateful to have found a place that is not only close to our homes, but communicative.

We have sent both of our children to ipelc for several years and have had a wonderful experience. The teachers are patient and fun, they host family events frequently (and the staff comes in for them on their days off!) And their learning structure in each of the classrooms has absolutely prepared both of my kids for school. We have made very good friends at ipelc. Highly recommend in the Horner Park neighborhood.

I am constantly amazed by how much my kids are learning from the teachers and the other kids. The kids act like a family there and respect each other which is impressive. The teachers are very accessible and good about keeping me informed about my kids.

We have been customers for a little over two years now. Bardha does a wonderful job running the center, and the teachers do an equally impressive job. The physical facility itself is adequate, if somewhat underwhelming, but the staff are where this center really shines. Wed definitely recommend it.

I thank the teachers at IPELC for a wonderful job. Not only educating my daughter on a daily basis but for her growth and developmental preparing her mentally, physically and socially in the next steps to kindergarten. Every day she is excited to go to school and happy to share everything she has learned when she comes home.

I dont write many reviews but feel that IPELC deserves some praise. My son attended Irving Park Early Learning Center from 3 months to 15 months of age. During this time, the staff at IPELC went above and beyond to care for our son. Every teacher in the center knew my son (even those in other rooms) and made sure to greet him with a smile every time they saw him. In order to enter the infant room, you walk through the entire center. During this short walk, you are able to see how great the staff is and how hard they work to meet the needs of all their kiddos. The centers director, Bardha, always kept us informed and responded quickly to any questions and concerns. She has really put together a great space for children to thrive and develop.

I have only wonderful things to say about IPELC. We love all the personnel and so does our 3.5 year old daughter who we started here when she was only 11 weeks old. As a first time mom going back to work, I was super worried about leaving my little baby girl, but once I saw the teachers and how much love there is in the infant room and all other classes, I trusted my mother’s instinct and was so right! She made many friends, grew and learned so much here thanks to the wonderful, loving and caring teachers. They have a very well established routine filled with diverse developmental activities. I personally would have never had a chance to do so many things with my girl and appreciate how much she achieved with the help of IPELC.All this time we knew that our daughter was in good hands. IPELC staff truly made it a heaven for her and us while we were working.

I have been very happy with Irving Park Early Learning Center. The Director and staff have all been very helpful and encouraging. My daughter has been there since December when I started back at work after my second child. Since then, her vocabulary, verbal and language skills have increased tenfold and she has learned to share and interact with other children her age. The teachers are very kind and really pay attention to the needs of the children. I also like that theres a large playground at the center but they also take the kids to the park and on field trips as well. My 18 month old son is in now in the toddler group at IPELC as well. He gets excited to interact and play with the other kids. The toddler teachers are very communicative and cheerful whenever I drop off and pick up my son. The Director of IPELC has always been very kind, professional and very accommodating to our needs. She does a great job running the Center and communicating with the parents. The location is great for us too since it is on my way to work. The only downside is Montrose can get pretty busy in the morning and there isnt a designated area to drop off and pick up the kids even though I have never really had an issue to be honest since there is temporary parking out front. All in all, IPELC is a great place for your child to learn and grow!

We prospected this place for our newborn. The only thing that turned me off from this place, was that the person who was giving us the tour (Bardha Kazazi) would only address my wife and not me, which was strange behavior and I found it to be offensive/sexist. I was essentially invisible to her, and my wife and I operate with equality in our household. That, and the pre-k room smelled like a pet shop. Probably because of the pets, thats probably normal.Theyre also considerably expensive and dont cover consumables, nor are they very technically apt. I asked the person giving us a tour if our kids feeding/crapping/napping data would be published online or sent to us and the lady went on for 5 minutes about how its all kept in a book but parents can take pictures of the sheets to save paper.

My daughter has been going to IPELC since March 2011 and weve never looked back in terms of where we thought she would get the best childcare.  She started in the infant room (with Ms.Ericka) at just 12 weeks old and the teachers made me feel so comfortable leaving her there with them. Its hard leaving your baby in someone elses care, but the teachers would also update me on her day and we would work together on any transitions going on (i.e. sleeping in crib, eating baby food, switching to a sippy cup, etc.).  They ended up teaching me so much as a first time mom! She has since been in the Toddler, Twos, and now Pre-K rooms and my experience in every single room has been nothing but wonderful!  I fall in love with all of the teachers in the rooms and become so attached to them and get sad when its time to move rooms!  My daughter LOVES going to school and has since the very beginning.  IPELC has a philosophy of learning through play and I feel that my daughter has benefited so much from it.  Each room has times set aside for circle time, art, free play, outdoor time, etc.  Ms. Susan (Toddlers), Ms. Carmen (Twos), and Ms. Eluvia (Pre-K) are all AMAZING teachers who care so much about all of the children.  My daughter has come home from school so many times excited to tell me about what she learned that day and it makes me feel that not only is she under great childcare but she is learning new things there everyday. In terms of the center itself, each room is kept extremely clean and the staff takes it very seriously to ensure everything is sanitized appropriately. There is also a fenced in, rubber surfaced playground that the children LOVE!  There are bikes, slides, play houses, etc. and they have such a great time out there.  The director of IPELC (Ms. Bardha) is also very kind, greets everyone when they walk in the door, and is extremely easy to talk to. I feel comfortable asking her any questions or raising any concerns I have and know that she will be willing to help me out.
