And to see first hand, the progress and milestones of each child was the most rewarding gift. CST Academy…. Wow! I loved seeing the kiddos learning and playing in a classroom with numerous therapists. At CST Academy, the ratio of kiddos to adults in the classroom was amazing. The kiddos were provided consistent interaction with the therapists for the entire duration of the class. It was an outstanding sight to see! The most amazing pre-school ever! Our daughter went here for almost a year and she fell in love! The teachers are very well-trained and educated and are so supportive in understanding all the unique needs of each of the kids. Mandy was my daughters speech therapist for just over a year at CST Academy. She is a great speech therapist and teacher. My daughter quickly became comfortable with drop-offs and later even became excited on her “school” days. Mandys enthusiasm for helping kiddos is obvious each and every day. She also provided our family with reinforcing tools to use at home on several occasions. We miss Mandy and the other therapists at CST.

My husband and I cannot say enough positive things about his program. We enrolled our son about 10 months ago, when he was just over 2. This was our first experience with a drop off program and the first couple of classes were emotional (for mom and son!). Miss Mandy and the other teachers were so sweet, kind and supportive that soon my son was running in to the classroom with a quick wave good bye. He looked forward to going to school everyday. The progress he has made with his vocabulary, letter sounds and interaction with peers is amazing! The teacher to student ratio makes class special to the specific needs of each child. Our last day at CST ended the same way it began, emotionally. We will truly miss seeing these wonderful teachers every week!

CST Academy is a great preschool program if you want to improve your childs speech and language! I saw huge, rapid improvements in spontaneous speech AND talking to peers! Our son started his first day at CST with a great heart, but was easily frustrated because he couldnt communicate what he needed or wanted. He finished his last day after 8 months the friendliest chatterbox you could ever meet. Going to CST allowed his personality to really shine because he is able to express himself. We are grateful to everyone there.

After our son spent a year in a regular daycare and his language issues were not improving, we decided I (mom) would quit my job so he could attend CST. It was the best decision we have ever made for him & our family! The structure of CST (small class sizes, speech-language pathologist teachers, structured routines, theme-based units, etc.) and the relentless energy, creativity, planning, patience and love of the CST staff have propelled our son into significant developmental progress. He went from speaking in 1-2 word chunks to speaking in sentences. He went from not being able to sit in circle time at all, to sitting with a consistently reinforced sticker/star chart, sitting and participating with the group without needing the star chart. He went from having no interest in pretend play at all to walking in the classroom pretending to eat fake food and feed toy animals. CST was also integral to helping us potty train him! Our son will likely have social, emotional and language delays for a while, but CST has helped him and us build a toolbox of strategies to continue working on helping him overcome his challenges. When he is at CST, we know he is in the best hands he can possibly be in after his family. Thank you CST! We are forever indebted to you!

This day program is impressive! The facility is pretty amazing. Very calming to help with children who struggle with sensory concerns too.

I cant say enough thank you to this school and the teachers there. My son T started last October with the school and we had to leave the school at July this year due to summer travel and relocation after summer. As soon as we came back from our trip abroad, T asked to go back to school almost everyday! You can see how much my boy loves the school! When my son started school last year at 34 months, he can barely put two words together, now he spoke in sentences. His social skills improved as well in the friendly and loving school. Last two weeks we revisited Ts birth country. All of our old friends said T is a different boy now, very sociable, confident, well behaved and charming. ire so proud to see during the trip my son with speech disorder ordering food for himself in restaurants, communicating his needs and greeting taxi drivers and air attendants with his speech, sharing toys and taking turns with other children in museums and teaching other children how to play a new toy with words and body language, and cleaning up toys after playing in a friends home. He learnt and practiced all of these skills in the school! The teachers in the school are very caring and supportive, they understand children and understand the struggles parents are facing. They provide professional and practical advices to parents, teach children essential skills in a fun way. They even help with potty training! I also want to mention a little story. Some of my mom friends complained to me that when they picked up their children from preschools they found out their children were crying alone without any teachers attention. But this never happened to us. Once I picked up my son a bit late and once I approached the school door, every staff I met in the corridor was telling me my boys crying for me. When I finally got into the classroom, I saw a teacher was trying to comfort T with a very caring gesture and gentle voice. I know they care about my son! Thank you CST Academy! Its so sad we have to leave the school but youll always hold a special place in our heart!

This program has been so beneficial for my son who was slow at speaking at age 2 and needed additional help to pronounce letters & words. Mandy has greatly assisted in improving his speech & overall preparation for Pre-School. Having him in the class just 2 mornings a week for a year has dramatically improved his speech & social skills. He has really enjoyed the class, which made it easier on me. The HiMama email communication portal with a daily report and pictures is awesome. Mandy also takes the time to personally communicate at pick-up any positives or negatives your child experienced. This helps the parents/caregivers know what should be addressed at home. I researched many options but choosing CST was a no-brainer.

CST Academy is truly a unique and exceptional place! They take into consideration of making activities fun and engaging and the teachers are so informative and helpful!

CST Academy has been an amazing experience for my son. My son was premature by 10 weeks and at age 2 was diagnosed with a slight speech delay and speech theraphy was recommended. After speaking to some friends, they recommended CST Academy. From the very beginning, they were extremely responsive and within a week they came over to do an evaluation and a week later we started doing in home therapy. My son immediately loved his therapist (Johanna Drucker) and would get excited every time she would come by. A month later we enrolled him in the preschool program at CST Academy. The combination of in home therapy and the time spent at CST Academy was exactly what he needed to get over the hump in his speech delay. Within a few months, he went from saying 1-3 words to 3-5 words together, not just in English but in Spanish as well! He is now a chatterbox! He loved going to see Ms. Mandy and Lauren and would talk about his day at school with his teachers and friends. It really did feel like a second home to him and has learned so much from them. He will begin preschool this September and I have no doubt that he is ready, all thanks to CST Academy!

Mrs. Jennifer Gunn Herndon is an amazing teacher and always determined. Her effective teaching strategies for motivating and helping students to reach their goals are the best, her work is ethical and very professional, she is a teacher who really loves her profession, she loves challenges, especially when they are focused on changing the life of a student, she helps her students to develop their abilities to the maximum extent possible, the phrase not possible is not written in her dictionary, Mrs.Gunn is a lovely,compassionate, sensitive and careful teacher. She is simply admirable and one of a kind.

I recently observed the speech-language pathologists at the CST academy, and I was extremely impressed. As a future SLP, I have observed several clinicians and those at CST are one-of-a-kind. In the academy, the SLPs tailor the lessons to each child and also prepare children to interact with peers in a group setting. The SLPs have an evident passion for working with children, which creates a positive and productive environment. I highly recommend the CST academy!

Carli Weiler was my daughters speech therapist until August 2017, unfortunately we moved and we truly miss her! She provided speech therapy in our home and as soon as she arrived my daughter was excited to see her! My daughter looked forward to every session with Carli and she especially loved Carlis bag of goodies (educational materials for the speech session). After each session Carli provided us with feedback and tips to help our daughter at home. We saw our daughters speech improve and we are so grateful for Ms Carli!!
