This place has allowed my shy, sensitive child to blossom in such a profound way while never breaking his spirit or changing his essence. This place is screen-free and completely play-based and will allow little ones to stay little while learning the ever-important social-emotional skills they need in their futures. I love this place and will tell anyone and everyone about it.

We love this school! Our child was at a Montessori school for a while and she really wasnt enjoying school so we decided it was time for a change. We switched to JCYS a year ago and she just loves it! The teachers and administrators are knowledgable about child development and so warm and loving--its like a family. We live several miles from the school but we are willing to brave Cubs traffic in the summer for drop-offs/pick-ups because its such a great fit for our child. In spring, 2019, the school is moving to the Lincoln Square/Ravenswood area.

A warm, friendly environment for children to learn and grow. Welcome of all denominations. Love that preschool starts at 15 months, one of the few in Chicago that has two year old preschool.

The family and community environment is amazing! Truly a special place.

I went to jcys a while back in like kindergarten and still remember but it was a different establishment but it was GREAT I got home work help played games the people were so friendly and it really stuck with me
