Dray was my child’s teacher!!! And he was excellent. They took care of my child with so much love and they are real ppl. My child would be so excited to go day care. He enjoyed going to kids and company. One day we were stuck in traffic and we reached day care 1 hr late . The staff was kind enough to give some water and snacks and they were just there waiting for baby to be picked up.!!! I love kids and company and I would definitely recommend it.

My granddaughter only been at this location for a week and this is what took place:1. My 2 year old granddaughter was sleepy chose not to eat at that time. I saw on camera she was trying to get their attention possibly to eat. She was crying, they removed her from the table and then ignored her . I called Crystal, the director and informed her of what I am seeing on camera. Crystal informed me that she will just eat her snack when she wakes up. After I asked her to see if she would eat. The children were still eating and my granddaughter never ate.2. My granddaughter was slammed in the chair several times by a worker. My granddaughter then fell to the floor and I panicked while watching this on camera because she was not moving for about a minute This aggressive behavior is unacceptable and is never allowed at home. My granddaughter never smiled and cried on camera which is not normal for her at this daycare which stated she was unhappy and or traumatized. I spoke with Crystal director and asked to play cameras back of the incident and Crystal stated it has to be done at corporate. Crystal stated the person who mistreated my granddaughter this way will not do it again. I was not convinced and took my daughter out of this daycare last week.3. Ive witnessed this worker doing this to another child the same day. How is this acceptable and done freely on camera ? If my granddaughter was only there for 3 days and experienced this type of behavior, I can only imagine what other children are experiencing. There is no structure in the classroom and unprofessional teachers. Crystal is too laid back that it seems like she dont care. Im sure the worker that mistreated my granddaughter was not reprimanded for her behavior. This situation broke my heart, I never give reviews but for the safety of others, I wanted to share my story. Please watch the cameras and how your child is treated at this daycare. This is not the only place I am making a complaint.

Our daughter began attending Kids & Company when she was 4 months old, and she is currently 2 1/2. From the first day, she has enjoyed her time there, and has been treated as part of the family.I feel confident that the program director Ms. Tracey, and the entire Kids & Company staff have my daughters best interests in mind. Every day my daughter tells us she has fun at daycare, and she learns something new. There are even some days when she would rather stay at daycare than come home. Her teachers are constantly watching for ways that she can grow, and they update us on a daily basis with all of the new things that she has learned.I am also grateful that my daughters teachers are more than willing to assist my daughter in large milestones such as transitioning to solid foods, learning how to walk, talking, and even potty training! They have been a large part of my daughters life thus far, and I am forever grateful for the exceptional care that my daughter has been provided.

We switched to this daycare after an unsatisfying experience at a nearby day care for a month. This location is friendly, clean, lots of toys and space for the kids to play in, and most importantly the staff pay attention! They make sure toys are age appropriate and that your child isnt left crying for no reason. I was sure I made the right decision when I walked in on day 4 there and my son didnt cry when I dropped him off and none of the other 7 kids in the room were crying either. That has become a usual occurrence here. At the old place he cried each day and at least 1-2 other children were usually crying inconsolably and unattended to already when we arrived.

Our son has attended Kids & Co. since he was three months old. We initially toured a few other daycares in the area and felt most at home at Kids & Co. Our son is now almost 2 1/2 years old and really enjoys going to school to play with his friends, work on art projects, and take trips to the park. The first thing he does during morning drop-off is hug his teachers! I really love that the director, all of the teachers, and staff know our sons name and are invested in his well-being. I know he is in good hands while Im at work. I also really like that I can view my sons classroom via a web-cam (for when Im missing him more than hes missing me). Since the classrooms stick to a routine I know when to check the camera to see my son playing, doing circle time, eating lunch, napping, etc. I definitely recommend Kids & Co!

Be careful with this place. You are going to have a hard time to get your deposit money back. In fact we still havent gotten our $880 deposit back despite numerous attempts. We withdrew our daughter from this preschool and suddenly the situation changes. They were all pretended to be nice but once you switch school, the true color comes out. I am very happy with my daughters current school and so is she. Before she was constantly sick that tells a lot about this place.

I wrote a review on Kids and Company South state 2 years ago. Thats after a few months by oldest son started. I now have another son that is also there and I feel that the least I can do is writing a review expressing how much I love the staff, the space and the program. My oldest is in the pre-k program and my youngest in the 2s.This is a place full of kindness, compassion, happiness and strong work ethic. The program is very well structured, kids are truly happy there. Every day at home the show something new that they learned during the day. In contrast to most day cares, there is almost no staff turnover here, the same teachers have been there since my oldest son started! The teachers truly care for each individual child and listen to parents concerns. The kids develop great relationship with the teachers. We recently went on a family vacation, my oldest son kept asking if his two teachers would meet us there. The webcams are a great plus. It really fills my heart seeing my kids so well taken care while I am in the office working. They have a big gross motor gym, ideal when its raining and they cant go to the park.Ms Tracey, the director, is superb in maintaining an atmosphere of calm, comfort and discipline. As a mother of two kids, o I have constant concerns and Ms Tracey has been very accommodating of my kids needs, I cannot thank her enough. After 2 years and 2 kids at Kids and Company, I highly recommend this place.

When we first moved to the South Loop neighborhood, we looked at several other daycares before choosing Kids & Company. Since then, we have been nothing but pleased with how caring and professional the director and all other staff at Kids & Company have been. Our daughter is 2 1/2 years old and has been going to Kids & Company for just over 2 years now. We cant believe how much she has learned since she has been there. Weve documented her saying more than 800 English words, and she has even been using other languages while at home. While at Kids & Company, she has been introduced to Spanish, Mandarin, French, and ASL. She loves learning and playing with all of her friends, and insists on making a round to all of the different classrooms when we leave so that she can say bye to the other teachers and kids. I think she would rather stay at daycare so she can keep playing and learning most days rather than come home!

Ive been meaning to write a review of the Kids & Co. South Loop location for a long time now, so at long last here I go. My family has been using their daycare services since my little one was just 3+ months old, and shes now two. We shopped around (KinderCare, Rainforest, Bright Horizons) and stuck with this one because they were competitively priced, well-staffed, flexible with our schedule, and conveniently located. Ill admit I was as dubious as any first time, new parent, of strangers caring for my girl. But from the first, Tracy and the staff at Kids & Co treated us well. They have webcams in each room, which I watched like a hawk those first few weeks/months. I popped in randomly to nurse occasionally, and always found the staff to be attentive and responsive. Were babies left to cry sometimes? Of course, just like at home when you cant pick them up immediately. But they were always safe, snuggled lots, and well cared for and looked after. As our little one grew, and moved into toddlers and twos, we were excited to see all the fun activities they had in store for the kids every day. Im really impressed with their curriculum, and dedication to learning. My little one would come home having learned songs, shapes, and words all the time. She brought home a ton of artful creations. More importantly, she enjoys attending (Well, most days anyway. Shes now two after all) and loves her teachers. She knows all their names, and all her classmates names. Long story short, were fans of Kids & Co, especially the South Loop location. We recommend them highly to anyone looking for daycare in the south loop.
