Our children have been going to Kids Work since each was about 6 months old. Now they are 5 and 2, and Kids Work has been wonderful the entire time. The teachers and staff are extremely caring and capable, and we love how the organization is run so professionally. My husband and I both work full time and appreciate how responsive and reliable they are.Our kids have learned how to listen and learn in a supportive group environment, how to treat peers with kindness and respect, and countless other lessons. They both love it, and now our 5 year old is prepared for kindergarten, thanks to Kids Work.We think that choosing KW was one of our best decisions we’ve made as parents and would not hesitate to recommend.

This place has more turnover than the McDonalds across the street. They are forced to pretty much hire anyone because they treat their workers so poorly. The workplace is so dire they have 1984 style practices in which employees are asked join to something called a Happiness Committee. Workers dont even get proper meal break during shift. Why send your kids to a place of misery for employees? Dont just take my word for it, ask someone who works there!

We have loved our time here. 2.5 year old and an 8 month year old. Kids Work has been unbelievable in the face of all the challenges we are facing in the current environment. Their attention to detail and care for our children has been phenomenal. The boys love it and so do we.

I cant say enough great things about Kids Work. The way theyve managed the current Covid-19 pandemic in order to provide a safe environment for staff, teachers, and children is something other centers and schools should model. Under all the stress, theyve been able to provide a warm, caring, and enriching environment for our son (10 months) everyday. We feel so grateful to be part of the Kids Work family and would recommend them to any parent who is feeling anxious about childcare right now.

Our family has been with Kids’ Work for over four years. Our son started when he was 15 months old (now in kindergarten). Kids’ Work was instrumental in preparing him for academic and social-emotional success in kindergarten. He came into Kids’ Work extremely shy as we had a nanny for about a year. He loved his Kids’ Work experience developing strong friendships with peers. Our daughter started when she was 4 months old (will be turning 3 soon). She absolutely loves her teachers and the great activities. She has had most of the same teachers our son had so we have been able to work very closely with them. We researched several childcare centers before deciding on Kids’ Work and could not be happier with our decision. The owners, administrators, and teachers truly care about working with children. We have also developed great friendships with parents of our kids friends. We wholeheartedly recommend Kids’ Work.

Kids’ Work is such a special place, and we feel so lucky to have found it. Both our kids have thrived here and love going to school. The teachers and administrative staff are very warm and caring. The center has a feeling of community and home that I did not find at any other centers when touring. We highly recommend it and are so grateful to have such a wonderful daycare!

Being dad, divorced, I certainly appreciated my ex-wife choosing this place. When my kid was visiting my place we had another one, but have to admit this one was better. Hard to beat, great job guys, my boy learned a lots of stuff and was first and foremost safe with you.

We have been a Kids Work Chicago Too family since 2017. After visiting and researching several options, we could not be more satisfied with our choice. As an educator myself, Im constantly impressed with the quality of both instruction and emphasis on the whole child. From the parent perspective, my child has teachers who love him as if hes their own. What more could you ask for?

Kids Work Too has been a fantastic experience for our son. He is and will be an only child, and our goal for day care was to help him learn to socialize with other kids and adults. At every turn, the Kids Work staff has been caring, attentive and committed to helping our son be the best little guy he can be. He loves going to day care and he surprises us daily with the pace of his learning. We could not hope for a better child care provider.

We love this daycare center! The director, teachers, and staff are all friendly, and caring. They have their own playground on premises. Tuition includes diapers, wipes, meals and snacks, yoga class, and music class! My daughter has been here the last 2 years. She enjoys going to school, and doesnt want to leave at the end of the day. Kids Work feels like home for us.

Kids Work is a great daycare for our son. My husband and I toured a number of daycare centers before the birth of our first child. Kids Work was bright, welcoming, clean and secure. I knew as soon as we completed our tour that we wanted to send our newborn here. He has been attending since he was 16 weeks old (hes now 2 years), and I honestly have no complaints. Every teacher treats him like family. He loves going to daycare, hes learning a lot every day, and I really appreciate all of the photo updates and notes that we get from the teachers on a daily basis. Our son loves the weekly music class, daily activities outside, and even, most recently, the toddler yoga (which is as cute as you think it would be).

Kids’ Work has been so great for us! All the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming (the directors Lindsey and Michele know everyone’s name!). The center is so clean and they have parents take off their shoes when they enter (kids and staff have indoor shoes). I know my son is well cared for there and he’s learning a lot. We drive out of our way to go here because we love it so much! A few other things I like about Kids’ Work is they have a playground at the center, have separate rooms for each class, wash the children’s hands often, have a big open play area, don’t use a lot of apparatus when your baby is an infant, have windows in all rooms, really I could go on and on. If you are needing a daycare, check out Kids’ Work!

Our two children have both been with Kids Work since they were 3 mos old. We kept them there even after we moved from the neighborhood because they were so happy there. My kids have thrived there and I feel like they are safe and challenged. The teachers and directors are very warm and so great with kids. I encourage parents to take a tour. Kids Work was my first choice after taking the tour.

We started our daughter here when she was 3, and we were so incredibly happy with the experience. She attended part-time, but even though we werent there but a couple days a week, we felt part of the Kids Work family. The entire staff is truly invested in each child, and our daughter loved her friends a teachers. The projects and daily play immediately engaged her in and out of the classroom. Our daughter is now at our neighborhood school, but we started our son there. He is enjoying it just as much!

Kids Work has given my son the most invaluable gift, the gift of learning! He has been at Kids Work for roughly a year and he has really blossomed into a little person I didnt know was possible. He is 2 years old and is able to sing songs, count to 20, and knows the entire alphabet. He has enhanced his social skills by sharing activities and toys with others his own age. The teachers also give me such detailed updates that I am just amazed what they accomplish each day.

Kids Work used to be amazing. My son had many wonderful years there where he made great friends and was nurtured by the caring staff. I never had anything but good things to say. Its unfortunate that in his final year (during the COVID pandemic) it felt like the business was more interested in protecting itself at the expense of the families. Rate hikes and lowered teacher/student ratios without any good explanations just felt like price gouging. I dont know what their reasons are, and they dont seem to want to share. I hope they are able to get through this and return to way they used to be for the next generation of families that join them.

We love Kids Work Chicago. They made transitioning back to work as a new mom (and dad) less stressful. We knew that our child was being given exceptional care and development was being fostered. Starting in the infant room they did more then just take care of our kids basic needs. They did art projects and music class. Those things continue, along with much more, as our child ages. I recommend Kids Work to all the new parents I know, since I cant imagine taking our child anywhere else.

We love Kids Work. The teachers, center admin and all who work there are awesome. Before sending our almost 2 year old to Kids Work, he had a nanny so we were concerned about his transition to being in a classroom of kids all day. At first he was very shy and a little nervous, but the teachers welcomed him every day, gave him great routines, and made him feel right at home. He has really blossomed socially and verbally since starting at Kids Work a little over 3 months ago. As an educator myself, I strongly recommend Kids Work.

We cant say enough wonderful things about Kids Work! My daughter started at 4 months- I dropped her off and picked her up every day with a smile on her face- she clearly loved being there! The only tears were mine on the day we told them we were moving and had to leave! The teachers were absolutely amazing- loving and nurturing, while still providing structure and an enriching environment (even for the infants). And every member of the staff was an absolute pleasure- always friendly and helpful, organized, professional and great communicators! The facilities were clean and welcoming and we always felt safe there. I was told you just get a feeling when you find the right childcare for your family- and that was so true, we loved Kids Work from the moment we walked in the doors till our last day when we hugged everyone and said goodbye!

Kids Work is such a special place. When we were looking to place our 16 month old daughter in part-time daycare for the first time, I was very pessimistic after visiting several daycare centers in Chicago that just werent a good fit as they didnt have a family, friendly feel and I was worried about the attention she would get. The second I walked into Kids Work I felt so comfortable, and they have the most amazing staff. It is privately owned which I love because it gives it a more personal, family feel. My daughter loves her class and all the teachers are so lovely and great with the children. I would recommend Kids Word to anyone without hesitation!

The only place Ive visited where I think they take better care of my kid than I could do on my own! They share pics of my kid multiple times of the day and provide a level of stimulation and social interaction that I simply could not do myself. She has already learned so much. I wish I could be there to learn some of the songs myself and splash in the sensory table. One of the best decisions we ever made for our child, and for us.

My daughter has been attending Kids Work on a part-time basis since September 2014. She looks forward to each day she spends there. Due to the attentive and caring atmosphere created by Sierras staff, she has blossomed not only in her academic skill set, but also has seen tremendous growth in her interactions with others her age. She will be well-prepared and confident when she enters kindergarten next year; Kids Work has definitely played a pivotal role in her development.I highly recommend their curriculum to all parents seeking a safe, positive & effective learning environment for their children.Sincerely,Brad S. Kids’ Work provides a warm, safe, and enriching environment that not only accepts but values the unique nature of each child. Kids’ Work brought light back to our son’s face after a difficult experience at another preschool. When I told the staff at Kids’ Work that he still had accidents and wasn’t completely potty-trained, fully expecting to be scolded as we were at our previous school, the response was, “of course he does, he’s only three!” I knew right then it would be a wonderful fit not only for our son, but for us as parents. Today, he lights up when it’s time to go to school, and he doesn’t want to stop playing when it’s time to go home. There are no words to describe how grateful we are to have our happy, loving child back. Thank you!

We have been a part of the Kidswork family since 2010, and love it. The administrators and teachers are wonderful, and truly love my children. My husband and I refer to Kidswork as school not daycare, due to the outstanding early childhood education they provide. Our oldest is now in Kindergarten and is thriving.

As 2 working parents we agonized about the decision about what to do with our son after he was born. Nanny share? Au pair? Daycare? Ultimately we chose Kids work daycare and we have been very happy with our choice. If you choose daycare you will have rough spots--your kid will get sick a lot in that first year. But ultimately, after 2 years and 3 different classrooms at Kids Work (infant, 1 year old and toddler), we feel we made the right decision in childcare. The overwhelming positives of choosing Kids Work are the following:1. First and foremost weve always felt like the staff in every one of our sons classrooms truly cared about him. As a parent that means so much to you, feeling like the staff holds your baby enough and hugs him. Then as he gets older teaches him and plays with him. They have a real connection that goes beyond a job that feels like they really love my son.2. They teach your children. I think this is a huge advantage of a professional daycare like Kids Work over a home day care or nanny. At 2 years old our son can count, sing songs, and does art projects and this is all things hes learned almost exclusively at Kids Work. We feel when it comes to Kindergarten and first grade our son will enter with leg up having already learned so much starting so early at Kids Work.3. The social interaction is good at Kids Work with both teachers and other children. Weve gotten our son involved in classes outside of Kids Work like soccer or swimming and we cant help but notice how much better our son is at following an adults instructions than other kids that havent been in daycare. I dont think this is because our son is exceptional, I think its because hes had practice.Overall I would feel confident telling anybody and everybody I know that I wholeheartedly endorse Kids Work. Theyre professional, responsible and most importantly they care about the children and show them the love they need. Were moving soon and if we could wed take Kids Work with us to our new home because weve been so happy with how theyve treated our son.

Kids Work is such a special place. The teachers and administrators know our whole family and we are always greeted warmly. My son is a KWC alumnus and my daughter is about to graduate. I keep threatening to have another child just so our time at KWC can be extended. Both my son and daughter learned and grew so much -- both academically and socially and emotionally -- during their time at Kids Work.I highly, highly recommend Kids Work Chicago to anyone looking for a caring environment for their children.
